Gypsum is a small, quiet, family friendly town that is not over developed and populated like other mountain towns, it has a rural mountain town feel and home of the Eagle Vail Airport. It is 35 minutes to Vail, Beaver Creek and Glenwood Springs and only 10 minutes to the Eagle Vail Airport. The town is surrounded by national Forest and BLM land. Our housing neighborhood is a very quiet, well kept, family friendly area with a paved trail running throughout and 2 playgrounds/parks. Outdoor swimming pool, 8 outdoor pickle-ball courts, 2 tennis courts and golf are only a 3 minute drive away or short walk; there is a small fee to use the pool and regular golf fees apply. Pickle-Ball and tennis courts are free of charge. 1 mile from the town Recreation Center. (small charge to use facility) Gypsum has 13 parks including a skate park and sport complex. You are an easy 13 minute drive to our neighbor town of Eagle that has more restaurants, retail and a variety of community events to choose from! Ski,Golf, bike, hike, and river sports right here locally. Beaver Creek, Arrowhead and Vail ski resorts are 30-40 minutes away. A vehicle is needed however there are bus stops in town, the nearest one is 2.2 miles away and serves the entire Eagle Valley. Aspen is a 1.5 hour drive through Glenwood Springs We have a strict no smoking policy; a fee of $500 per occurrence will be imposed if violated or if the house/garage smells like smoke. Our house is a duplex and shares the backyard and a single wall with our neighbors so be mindful of the noise; quiet hours 10pm-8am. Parking: 3 spots in the driveway/garage combined. All other parking needs to be in the DESIGNATED guest parking area. No oversized vehicles permitted. All vehicles leaking fluids must park in the Guest Area, not the driveway or garage. Winter: roads and sidewalks are plowed for snowfalls of 2" or more. Driveway and back porch is your responsibility to shovel; shovels provided. Max adults is 4; you must get approval from host if more than 4.
