This unique and tranquil getaway is only minutes to Gainesville, FL where the, University of Florida, holds its many events. Please be our guest! The space Our unique home is nestled on (3) acres off Tuscawilla Lake/Marsh/Prairie in the heart of Micanopy, FL. We have two bedrooms and one bathroom, complete with a sofa pullout mattress, extra bedding, pillows, and towels for comfort. We will have the coffee maker ready with coffee, cream (powdered), and sugar waiting. For your pet's enjoyment and safety, we have a (smallish) fenced in area right outside the bedroom door to use anytime. *We are pet friendly and there is a pet fee. Guest access The whole house and property are yours to access. Enjoy watching all the wildlife through our big picture windows. There's a carport to keep your vehicle covered and you out of the rain. Other things to note The kitchen provides stainless steel appliances like a full-size refrigerator and freezer, flattop stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher. The full-size washer and dryer can be used for washing clothes. In Micanopy, there are several places to eat: Coffee & Cream Cafe, Old Florida Cafe, Mosswood Bakehouse for coffee/breakfast/lunch then Pearl Country Store & BBQ for breakfast, lunch, & dinner and Blue Highway Pizzeria for lunch and dinner. Yum!
