Bob's Lodge is a two-story haven, blending luxury and home comforts in a family-friendly setting. Positioned on a cantilevered deck with trifold doors leading to an elevated tri-deck, it provides stunning views of a serene fields with grazing sheep / cows. Featuring a private hot tub and an eight-seater barbecue hut, it promises an unforgettable and cosy retreat for families. The lodge has a private garden area accessed from a gently sloping path or a slide from the deck for the more intrepid. The space At a glance: This is a two-storey lodge. Indoor bedrooms: 1 downstairs king-sized bedroom, 1 first-floor double bedroom and 1 first- floor twin bedroom. Outdoor bedrooms: 1 geodesic dome with a circular super-king-sized bed (heated suitable to use all year round). Bathrooms: 1 downstairs walk-in shower room and 1 upstairs bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Kitchen: Fridge, wine fridge, freezer, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, filter coffee machine and washer/dryer. Minimum two nights stay all year round. Any day check-in. We strive to maintain an idyllic holiday retreat that transports you to an oasis of peace and tranquillity. Our farm is not suitable for groups, other than those looking for a relaxing holiday hideaway. Please note that we do not accept dogs in this lodge. Description: Bright and modern and of unique design, Bob’s Lodge is a spacious two-storey property which offers families and all the comforts of home. Cantilevered off a bank, you enter via ground level and out through trifold doors from the lounge on to a magnificent elevated tri-deck area overlooking a field of grazing sheep. With plenty of space for alfresco dining, features include hammocks, wooden ergonomic sun loungers, charcoal pizza oven and an eight seater barbecue hut. Leading off the main deck is a further deck, linked by a bridge, which houses a huge geodesic dome with a sumptuous super-king-sized circular bed and telescope for a spot of stargazing. Your own personal seven-seater hot tub occupies part of the lower deck, with colour-changing lights, plus complimentary bath robes – available to help further enhance your luxuriating. And your private garden area can be accessed via steps or a four-metre slide from the raised deck. A fun – and practical – addition to Bob’s Lodge quirky design. It boasts a large ground-floor king-size bedroom and downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower, making this property particularly suitable for visitors with mobility issues (there is a step to enter the property at the front door). With plenty of personal touches and attention to detail – including a welcome basket on arrival – it’s luxury and contemporary open-plan living is at its best, with plenty of seating and a 43” SMART TV, DVD and WIFI speaker for entertainment on cosy nights. The sleek curved kitchen-diner is equipped to the highest standard with all mod cons and has ample seating for eight diners and a highchair. And what could be more relaxing than gazing at the resident ponies and alpacas from your kitchen window? Further in the distance your complimentary binoculars will also afford you a view of the famous battlefield landmark of Edgehill. Stairs lead to the second floor, where there is a dedicated breakout area for younger guests featuring a well-stocked toy box, comfy children’s sofa and armchair and their very own TV with built-in DVD player. There are two spacious first-floor bedrooms – one twin and one double – both with seating areas and plenty of wardrobe capacity. The spacious and modern upstairs bathroom boasts a walk-in shower, full-sized bath, complimentary toiletries and heated towel rail. Bob’s Lodge has LPG-powered underfloor heating downstairs and radiators upstairs which are all thermostat controlled so you’ll stay cosy whatever the weather. Important stuff: Check in: 3pm Check out: 10am Due to the tranquil nature of our site, the surrounding wildlife and guests staying in our other properties, we politely ask all guests to keep outside noise to a minimum and for no loud music to be played at all times. The hot tub and barbecue hut are exclusively for the use of guests staying in Bob's Lodge. There is a woodland play area with fire pit on site that is exclusive for the use of guests staying in Will’s Tree House, Jess Tree Bach and the Chicken Shed Lodge. However, with those guests’ prior permission or if those properties are vacant, you are more than welcome to use this space. All bed linen and towels are provided. Complimentary towelling robes are also provided for all adult members of the party. Free WiFi. Cots (plus linen), highchairs, children’s toilet seats, shower stools and toilet frames are provided on request at no extra cost. Charcoal, wood and firelighters are provided for the outdoor pizza oven and barbecue hut. Self-check-in (you will be emailed the door lock code and directions prior to your arrival). The owners live on site and can be contacted at any time during your stay for assistance. There is parking for two cars immediately outside and plenty of parking for additional vehicles about 10 meters away. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer all provided. All kitchen essentials are provided (washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, foil, salt/pepper etc). A welcome pack of fruit, cake, filter coffee and milk is left for all guests on arrival. Other things to note There are 5 other holiday properties on our farm - 4 lodges and a tree house. We have 2 alpacas - Barry, Geoff and Pepper, plus two ponies - Stan and Queenie, in the paddock opposite Bob's Lodge and the Chicken Shed. We carry out twice daily checks to monitor the pH of the hot tubs for safety purposes - we'll try to not disturb you.
