Description
The Chocorua schoolhouse was one of 19 “one-room” schoolhouses that once educated children in the Tamworth area. It is one of the last still standing. The timber frame has housed a comfortable and interesting home since the 1950’s, when it closed its doors to students. Roger has taken great pains and expense to update the old building while still keeping its inherent charm and character. There are attached and separate storage sheds that are off limits. Other things to note Woodstove is for decorative purposes only. Please DO NOT attempt to light a fire.
