The surrounding lake, shoreline, and natural areas are managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which helps preserve the natural setting and peaceful environment. Kayaks and water equipment are stored in the garage and are available as optional rentals. Separate rental fees apply, and a waiver is required. No fire allowed in the house for safety purposes The side garage is reserved for kayak and paddle board storage and is not available for guest parking.
