The space Our focus is curating a full retreat experience for our guests. The Spa is in a secluded garden space that has "speakeasy" vibes; a hidden gem that requires a code word for access. The 1960's A-frame with original cedar ceilings, white wood walls, and all the cozy spots melt away any stress. The fireplace is the clincher. It can rotate 180 degrees so you can even enjoy it while relaxing in the claw foot tub with the bathroom door open. Ahhhhh....a soaking tub with a view of the fire. Oh My Gawd. It's pure luxury. We have also curated some activity guides. We have a 5-day Adventure Itinerary that includes hikes, water sports, and mountain biking. We have also put together a 5-day foodie map for those that want to do some little day trips and experience epicurean spots that only the locals know about. For those times you just feel like snuggling in, we have a 52" Smart TV in the media area. You can log in and stream from any of your own subscription services. We don't have screens in the bedrooms and reserve those rooms as a true respite with windows to nature. Fur Babies: We allow one dog (55 lbs or less) for your reservation. Dogs must stay leashed whether on or off the property, and cannot be left behind if you go out for dinner or a swim in the pool. Please plan accordingly so you and your pupper can both have a relaxing adventure! Just an FYI, this is not a kiddo friendly property. We have steep indoor stairs, the wood stove gets HOT, and guests under the age of 15 are not allowed in the Spa area. We look forward to hosting you! This is a totally private home and Spa Retreat Other things to note There are two bedrooms each with a Queen sized bed. Please ask for Guest Guide for full details. The upstairs loft can be converted to a private space with lovely portable screens and the super comfy trundle bed/couch can convert to two twin beds. Feels like luxury. Not like being relegated to the basement. LOL. The loft conversion to an extra bedroom will incur a mandatory loft fee of $50 per booking. Guest access The entire home and yard are for your use! Please do not access the wood storage/ wood curing sheds and storage along the border of the driveway. Other things to note We provide one complimentary bundle of firewood for either the fire pit or the wood stove. We have additional bundles already for you for $8 each that include firewood, paper, kindling and a fire starter.
