You do not need to enter your code to lock the door. Other things to note Please pick up all dog waste from yard. Please use provided waterproof dog blankets if they will be on sofas or beds. All pets must be on a leash at all times when outside of the pool area or house. There are many other dogs in the neighborhood and we don’t want any issues. * We use a scent diffuser with essential oils in the house while it is being cleaned and wash linens with scented detergent. If this bothers you, this probably isn’t the place for you although we will wash linens in unscented detergent and not use the scent diffuser, I can’t guarantee that the place will be sent free because sent lingers even if it’s not used all the time. 99.99% of my guess love the scent so I tend to cater to the majority. The occupancy is a maximum of 6 for overnight guests - you are allowed to have family and friends over as long it doesn’t turn into a party. Our quiet hours are from 11:00PM- 8:00AM. The fantastic outdoor area is fully yours to relax and enjoy, but we're surrounded with lovely neighbors and we want to be respectful of them. NO smoking in the house! If you must smoke, do so in the pool area not in front of the house! No diving in the pool but jumping is okay at your own risk. We ask you to sign a waiver to use the pool. Check out is 10 AM and if you check out after 10 AM, you’ll be charged the late checkout fee of $100. Can't wait to host you! *HURRICANE/SEVERE WEATHER POLICY: South Florida is subject to flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, tropical storms, water spouts, and other high-wind events. We cannot control these events, and Guests cannot request a refund due to the weather. Hurricane season in Florida runs from June to November, with the peak months being August through September. At any time if Pink Posh Inn is under a "tropical storm/hurricane watch" or "hurricane warning," where the “incidence cone” is expected to remain focused on our geographic region, with projections of a category strength of one (1), or more, the following will apply: * You have the option of canceling the remainder of your stay, at no penalty to you, if we are within the published incidence cone, at seventy-two (72) hours prior to landfall. NOTE: This is for hurricane's only, as flooding cannot be predicted. * At forty-eight (48) hours prior to your arrival, if we remain in the incidence cone, we will regretfully have to cancel your reservation. Our cottage is in an evacuation/flooding zone, and not secure enough to be safe in a high-wind event. * A “voucher” will be issued for the remainder of the days that will allow Guest to book at a future date at that same booking rate. NOTE: Guest will still have to pay a cleaning fee and this fee & taxes are subject to change. ACTIVE STAYS WHEN A HURRICANE IS APPROACHING: * While we are under a “Tropical Storm/Hurricane Watch,” and the storm has the potential to reach a Category 1 level or greater, we will request that you end your stay, and make arrangements to leave the area. * While we have some hurricane windows and protective coverings, our proximity to the intracoastal waterway puts us in an evacuation zone. You agree to depart the premises when requested to do so by your Host, a Co-Host assigned by the Host, or local authorities. * If we are forced to close, the remaining balance of your stay will be credited to you in the form of a “voucher,” unless a refund is directed by Airbnb. The “voucher” will be for the remainder days of reservation for a future stay, at the same booking rate. NOTE: Guests will still have to pay a cleaning fee and this fee & taxes are subject to change. * If we are notified by the news and/or National Weather Service that there will be a window where a hurricane, of any category strength, will pass through our area, we will close the cottage down 48 hours prior, or as soon as is possible, and ask all Guests to vacate. We will provide Guests with notice through Airbnb. Your active reservation will be canceled, and a pro-rated refund will be issued for the remainder of the days (not including fees). * Guests will be responsible for their own safety and evacuation plans in such a circumstance.
