Beautifully situated in the countryside, cozy little house with small heated garden hot tub (May to October and at an additional cost), fireplace, fire bowl and private, fenced garden directly by the forest in the idyllic Hessian highlands. Via a walking and cycling path on the Fulda River you can reach the Melsunger city center with pretty half-timbered houses, small cafes, good restaurants and pretty shops. Here you can stroll wonderfully, linger by the river or enjoy a coffee in the sun. The space Enjoy, live, arrive, laugh, feel good, dance, relax, inspire, think, rest, hike, sunbathe, slow down, rejoice, swim, cook... you can do all this here! The 77-year-old cottage is happy - just like us - about friendly guests from all over the world. You live in the house with a wild mountain garden all alone and can relax and enjoy your time out for two, with friends or family in the forest. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of this romantic spot in nature. The Hessian Uplands offer pure nature, beautiful hiking and biking trails, with beautiful views and routes along the river, as well as relaxation and wellness in several thermal baths. Clean air, clear water, extensive forests and meadows invite you to active recreation and there is plenty to discover in the half-timbered towns. The Documenta city of Kassel can be reached by Regiotram or car in just 25 minutes. Other things to note The layout in the cottage is as follows. Ground floor: entrance and hallway, 4 steps up is the bedroom on the left with a double bed (180 x 200) and straight ahead is the living and dining room with fireplace (bio-ethanol) and TV. Next to the living room there is a small room with 2 single beds. If you go up the small narrow staircase from the Wozi to the attic, you will find two single beds in the first room and three single beds in the room behind it. This space in the attic is indicated as a bedroom because it is a passage room without an intermediate door. Dear guests, please note: Basement: From the hallway, a staircase leads to the basement. Here in the basement is the kitchen (standing height only 183 cm) and the shower bath with toilet (standing height only 190 cm). When crossing the passages, you have to duck your head briefly, you should know that. Please note, there is only one bathroom with 1 shower and 1 toilet in the whole cottage.
