The Ginocchio Meyer Home
The Ginocchio Meyer Home
Description
Welcome! We want to share a bit of history with you! Enjoy a once in a lifetime experience staying at this unique & intricate beautiful 1890’s home. In the 1890’s Charles Ginocchio, owner of the Ginocchio Hotel and the Ginocchio home, had this home built by C. G. Lancaster for Emile Meyers, who operated a saloon in the hotel. Emile, an immigrant from Alsace-Lorraine continued to work at the hotel for many years. During the prohibition era, he converted the saloon into a soda fountain. The space The space is roomy & has tall ceilings and windows. It is a journey that takes you back in time with modern amenities that bring comfort. ✨Great for any type of getaway!✨ Bedroom 1/3 (same bedroom): The back bedroom has a private door that allows for more privacy but you do have to walk through the hallway leading to the master room to get to the main bath & half bath. Bedroom 2: The master room offers privacy with a tall wall that still features the original framing of the home which has been redone. There is less privacy since the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling & there isn’t a door to seal the room from the small hallway. There is however a door between this room and the back bedroom. (Good to consider if additional guests are staying & you wish to have maximum privacy). Master bath is located within this space. The living room is an open concept that also features the kitchen. Pool room: The game room offers a really fun opportunity to relax & play pool or can be converted into another bedroom with an air mattress. Half bath is also located inside of this space. Located right across the street from The Ginocchio restaurant ✨ (walkable) Only 3mins from ETBU/Wiley College Only a few miles near historic Jefferson & seconds from downtown Marshall which offers boutique shopping, car shows, farmers markets, fantastic restaurants and other great amenities. Guest access You will be able to access the entire home besides the shed in the yard. Other things to note Please treat this home with the same respect as you would your own or even better!
