Dream house with private pool, near the lake & playground. You live close to nature, 30 minutes from Gothenburg & 15 minutes from the cafe town of Alingsås. You can choose to spend the day by the pool, sunbathe, swim & start up the grill while the kids splash and play. You can take a walk along the embankment that runs along the lake. Or rent a boat & go out to one of the 60 islands that Lake Mjörn offers. In the garden, there is a sandbox, swings, slide and large trampoline. There are bicycles to borrow, close to the beaches for swimming. The space Level 1 of the house consists of 2 spacious bedrooms with double beds, one of which is a master bedroom with direct access to a toilet and shower. From the master bedroom, you have a wonderful view of the pool and the lake. Level 1 also has 2 slightly smaller bedrooms, one room with a double bed, and 1 room with a loft bed measuring 80 x 200 cm (2.6 x 6.6 ft). There is another bathroom with a toilet, a bathtub, and a shower. Living room you will also find here with direct exit to the pool area. The upper floor consists of 2 bedrooms, each with 1 single bed, a toilet, and a large, spacious area where the kitchen and living room are combined. Lovely large window section leads you out onto the large terrace and from there the stairs lead down to the pool area. There is also a small loft for the youngest guests, with lots of toys and games. We have our own well, so the water at the bottom of the toilets where the water is can be a bit brownish/yellow. The glass walls on the showers also get a little blurry from their own well. The water can be drunk and of the same quality as municipal water, if not better. We have a filter system that the water runs through. When the water is poured, it bubbles for the first 30 seconds due to oxygenation, and that’s exactly as it should be. We want you to know that this is our home that we live in and therefore there may of course be some small wear and tear on the house like all other homes. The house is from 2011 and of course there are stains and marks that do not disappear. For example, the wall in the laundry room, the sink in the bathroom, and the shower all have this issue; the kitchen cabinet door is slightly defective. In the backyard next to the parking lot there is an attefall house separated from the main building where the homeowners may be staying for periods of time. Guest access You have access to the whole house except garage and dressing room which is in the master bedroom. Then there are some drawers that we have written private on that are private. Private access to the garden and pool area. Other things to note The cleaning fee includes vacuuming, drying, cleaning of toilets, etc. Guests have the responsibility to restore the home to its existing condition as it was in when you arrived. So, we want you to put back toys, furniture, all dishes and put everything away and put back in place. If you do not do this, there is a fee of SEK 1,000. Around the deck there is no fence and here you have the responsibility for children running and playing. Everything around the pool is on your own risk. You must ALWAYS have supervision of the children around the pool area. Our kids are 4, 7 and 9 and there's never been anything going on. We want and hope you will take care of our home as you do with your own home. During your stay, you will get some visit from a lady coming to fix the pool and make sure everything is in order with our lawnmower and pool. She will also water the flowers but you are welcome to water the flowers if they are hot days and you see that they are thirsty 🙏🥰 Around the pool, we want you to always keep an eye on your children, the ones that happen around the pool are at your own risk. It is water and it is very important that you always have 100% control so no accident happens. The balcony around the pool is also high, so for their own safety, ask the children not to run around the pool and keep an eye on them. It is also very important that the pool enclosure is ONLY open when you are supervising; otherwise, it is the law in Sweden that the enclosure must be closed for everyone’s safety and also for the safety of wildlife. On hot days, it’s a good idea to leave the small door to the pool enclosure open. To clarify some details, we'll provide you with 8 small towels (not bath towels) 1 bag of charcoal 1 bottle of lighter fluid 1 pack of Baking paper 1 pack of coffee 2 Body soap Cleaning for dishwasher Dishwashing liquid Dish sponge Dishcloth Hand soap All beds will be freshly made for your arrival. Cleaning funds needed 2 kitchen towels We ask that you leave what comes over in the house and put the dirty towels in the laundry basket. You don't need to make the beds, we'll work them out 😊 Before you leave the house, it is your responsibility to make sure that everything is in place as they were when you arrived. The fridge, freezer, dishwasher, all drawers and cabinets should be emptied. All chairs, sun loungers, toys, pool toys and other furniture/details should be left in their place as it was when you arrived. If this is not done, we have the right to charge an additional fee. We have our own well, so you can't flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilets. Since it is an unusually hot summer in Sweden, we would like to ask you to be conservative with the water. The well has never dried out, but you never know when the weather is as amazing as they have been.
