Located 5 minutes from the only grocery store in town and 10 minutes from Lake Lure Beach, this property offers the remote feeling of the mountains but conveniently located minutes from your favorite Lake Lure and Chimney Rock attractions. The space The house offers complete privacy on over an acre of land with no other properties in direct view. Enjoy lounging on the spacious deck during the day, cozying up next to the fire in the evening, and enjoying the screened-in Aspen hot tub at night. The deck offers full sun, two lounging chairs, and a large 8-person dining table with an umbrella for shade. The screened-in patio protects you from the bugs and rain while you lounge or relax in the hot tub. Inside, the property offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The upstair’s bedroom has a cozy, cottage feel with a queen sized bed and plenty of space to unpack. It is attached to the main level bathroom which features a walk-in shower. It has a sliding glass door to the back deck with blackout curtains. This bedroom also offers a walk-in closet. Downstairs, the first bedroom contains a bunk bed with two queen mattresses. This room has wide window views to the surrounding woods and blackout curtains. It can sleep up to four adults, but note the weight capacity for each mattress is 400 pounds. The last bedroom contains a queen sized bed, wide window views, blackout curtains, and closet. The two downstair’s bedrooms share a large, calming bathroom with a double vanity and shower tub. The recently renovated kitchen comes fully stocked with kitchenware. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, oven, microwave, slow cooker, coffee maker, toaster, baking sheets, and dishwasher are all available for use. The living space just off the kitchen is perfect for lounging and playing games with those your traveling with. You will also have access to the washer and dryer in the laundry room downstairs. High speed internet is available and cellphone reception is good (tested with AT&T). There are two desks and office chairs for those wishing to work while visiting. This house does not allow pets and has a maximum capacity of eight people. No parties allowed. Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Other things to note There is a quarter mile inclined gravel road that leads to the house. The road is steep and uneven in some spots. Please avoid bringing a low profile sports car. However, four wheel drive is not necessary unless there is snow or ice. You will be provided with a code for self check-in. Do not leave any food/garbage outside or in your car due to bears. All trash should placed in the secured trash cans. Be sure to secure the bins after disposing of trash. Garbage is picked up every Friday morning.
