Tawny's at Willow Barn, set within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty: the Chiltern Hills - bang in the centre of Midsomer Murders Country. Tawny's benefits from a traditional rural setting, with all the trappings of country living. Walking distance to the well stocked village shop, a bustling pub, tennis court, and the most fantastic walks and cycle trails available. The space The large living area has a two seater sofa, Smart TV, dining table, and equipped kitchen (electric oven, gas hobs, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, washing machine, radio, all accessories). The foldable dining table and chairs can easily function as a working desk. The bedroom can be set up to suit 2 singles or 1 double, please just let us know in advance; quality linen and ample bedroom storage. Dedicated bathroom with walk in shower, shaver point, further storage, heated towel rail. Towels prepared for guests as standard. Additional items available for your use: Local maps, compass, binoculars Muddy boot storage Board games and cards Cleaning equipment Guest access Tawny's is a detached annex to our home, with ample parking and a section of our gorgeous garden available for your leisure with table and chairs. Please note the meadow next door homes our hens and beehives, honey is available while it lasts! The property is adjacent to a large pond, if you are lucky you may encounter the ducklings, and catch sight of the bats after dusk. The parking space is separated to the property by a 50 yard gravel drive. Other things to note The location is semi rural, beyond the above amenities you have plenty of further options in the nearby market towns of Great Missenden, Chesham, or Amersham. Great Missenden is particularly renowned as the home of Roald Dahl and setting for many of his stories. These all benefit from fast rail links to London or beyond. Please note that mobile phone signal is poor in this area. Being semi rural it is very quiet and peaceful, however we are in a village with a farm nearby and other neighbours, so absolute silence is not a given.
