Washington Cottage on Calico Bay

Built in the 1960's, the Washington Cottage is a little gem that was completely restored in 2022. It's located within walking distance of Morehead City's waterfront area with restaurants, bars and charter fishing boats. Take in the beautiful views of the bay and sunsets from the front porch or just relax in this peaceful getaway. We own the local coffee shop about a half mile away (voted best coffee on the Crystal Coast) and you get complimentary coffee during your stay! The space This little gem of a house is compact, but feels open and larger with big windows, a large front deck and lots of light. While the house is not directly on the waterfront, you will enjoy the expansive views of the water across large grassy lawns. Parking is available on the grass next to or in front of the house. There is room to park a boat with trailer beside the house.
