Access is by the Island Girl Ferry (20 minutes from Pineland Marina) or private boat. Cowboy Services handles your luggage from the dock — you just show up and exhale. Guest access Your island experience begins with a warm welcome from our dedicated property managers, Cowboy Services. Their professional team will greet you at the ferry dock upon arrival, help with your luggage and groceries, and escort you to Stella Maris. They will be available to answer any questions you may have about the property. Cowboy Services remains available throughout your stay for assistance with any needs—from maintenance requests to island recommendations. Their local expertise ensures you'll enjoy a worry-free vacation, allowing you to focus entirely on relaxation and creating memories. Your rental includes full access to all areas of the property: three bedrooms, den, all bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living spaces, outdoor areas, and the breathtaking rooftop deck. The 6-seater golf cart is provided for your exclusive use during your stay, making island exploration convenient and enjoyable. For your security and peace of mind, you'll receive a unique entry code that will be active for the duration of your stay. Other things to note OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ISLAND ACCESS: North Captiva is accessible only by water. Ferry service runs throughout the day, but advance reservations are recommended. Ferry cost is not included in your stay and should be arranged directly with the ferry company. We'll provide full details upon booking. GROCERY PLANNING: Since there's only a small convenience store on the island, we recommend pre-ordering groceries from the mainland supermarket. They can prepare your order for ferry transport, or for an additional fee, Cowboy Services can pre-stock your kitchen before arrival. CLUB ACCESS: Safety Harbor Club membership is included with your stay—enjoy the pool and tennis courts (with pickle ball). Island Club access is available for an additional fee, offering more pools, kayaks, and paddleboards. Most North Captiva properties offer only one club or none—this is a rare dual-access home. Contact us for Island Club pricing. GOLF CART USE: Your rental includes a 6-seater golf cart for island transportation. Only licensed drivers are permitted to operate the golf cart. Renters are fully responsible for any damage to the golf cart or harm caused by its use. Please treat this amenity with care. WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS: Weather can occasionally impact ferry schedules. We recommend purchasing trip insurance and having flexible travel plans during hurricane season (June-November). WILDLIFE: North Captiva is a natural paradise with abundant wildlife including dolphins, manatees, and numerous bird species. Please respect the island's natural environment and be aware that you may encounter harmless wildlife during your stay. TRANSPORTATION: The island is car-free and small enough to be easily navigable, with most locations within a short golf cart ride. INTERNET/CELL SERVICE: While we provide high-speed WiFi, island internet service can occasionally be affected by weather. Cell service is generally reliable but may vary by carrier.
