The Pudding Stop - Bakewell - Free Parking

Our beautiful and newly refurbished (2023) cottage is right in the heart of Bakewell, Derbyshire. The location could not be more convenient - it's a minute walk into the centre where you will find excellent pubs, restaurants, cafes and independent shops. We now also include free on-street parking. The Pudding Stop sleeps 2 guests (babies and dogs welcome too!) and is available for short breaks and week stays. This little hideaway is set within the garden of our 1830’s Grade II listed property. The space The property is fully self-contained with an open living space including bed, hanging space for clothes, sofa, smart tv and wifi. The kitchen unit includes sink, fridge/ice box, microwave, kettle, toaster and portable hob for cooking your favourite meals. Tea/coffee facilities inc milk are also provided so you can relax once you arrive. The brand new bathroom includes shower, toilet, basin and towel radiator. Note that there is a step up into the shower. Outside is a lovely private courtyard with table and chairs to enjoy morning coffee. It's fully enclosed so your furry friends cannot escape! Linen, towels and complementary toiletries are included. Travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request. Bakewell is home to traditional markets and the famous Bakewell pudding! Nestled in the heart of the Peak District, it provides the perfect base to explore and is surrounded by many attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Peak Caverns, and Eyam Museum. If you love the outdoors you will be truly spoilt by amazing walks, climbs and bikes rides such as the Monsal Trail, Ladybower Reservoir and Mam Tor to name but a few. Guest access You'll have access to the entire cottage and small private courtyard (fully enclosed). Access is via the garden for the main property. Guests cannot use the main garden. Other things to note Free on-street parking is included in your stay with the use of a visitor permit. The permit can be found in the property.
