Artemis Barn - Annex

Self-contained annex to an award winning home, right in the heart of Castleton, with ON-SITE parking! Equipped with kitchenette, comfortable king sized bed, Japanese soaking tub, smart TV and board games. Modern design with charming original features. Quiet and peaceful. There are six pubs, a bakery, coffee spot, a newly opened boutique wine and craft beer shop all within a short walk, not to mention the countless trails and rambles with astonishing views on the doorstep. The space The space is split on two levels, the bottom floor of which houses a well stocked kitchenette, comfy Ercol furniture, TV and board games to play in the evenings. You also have access to the annex bridge which features the original stone walls of the barn, an ideal place to store luggage and muddy boots. The upper level is equipped with a comfortable king sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a custom Japanese soaking tub (with shower) and sustainably forested Accoya wood panelled walls. We also provide bubble bath and Epsom salts if you wish to take a soak after a long day of exploring the hills. Guest access Guests have independent access to the annex. Other things to note If you have any specific queries regarding the accommodation we aim to be very responsive and we are always happy to answer questions and give advice on the area. Kindly note that our kitchenette includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small under counter fridge, cutlery and utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, drinking glasses, wine glasses and champagne flutes, tea and coffee for our cafetière. We do not have an oven or hobs currently. Our bed is low to the floor which may not be best suited to those with mobility issues. We mention this based on 1 of our guests’ feedback to us and we want to be as transparent as possible! Pet owners, please be aware that our front garden is contained by a farm style gate, if you have a toy/small dog breed they may be able to escape through the pales in the fence if left unsupervised. For reference, our standard and miniature poodles are unable to get through but our Houdini toy poodle will get out if he can! 😊 There is very little traffic on our lane but we want to make sure you are aware of this.
