This is the second guest bedroom on the first floor (12 stairs) gets lots of natural light and comes with a California king bed and soft memory foam mattress, a closet and a ceiling fan and high-speed Wi-Fi. Full bathroom (shared with another tenant): Only guests will be using this bathroom, which is in proximity to the guest bedrooms. We will provide basic bathroom amenities such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, hand wash, air fresheners, toilet paper, and a blow dryer. Hot/cold water throughout the day, although we do not allow soaking in the bathtub. Shared space: You are welcome to use the utensils, microwave and make light meals in the kitchen, and get filtered water and ice from our refrigerator dispenser. You are welcome to access the family room with a 65” Roku TV, a dining room to eat food comfortably, and a living room to read books and magazines. You will also have access to a large east-facing deck on a huge backyard. We would like to meet and know you a bit. With Germantown Town Center cafés, bars, restaurants, theatre, TopGolf, bus transit center, etc. under 10 minutes away via bus (and even quicker by car), you have all amenities and entertainment nearby. Nice trails around Gunners Lake and Seneca State Park. The Maryland SoccerPlex, Adventist HealthCare and Holy Cross Hospitals, plus Marc Train or Shady Grove Metro Stations are a short drive away and puts Frederick and D.C. at an easy commuting distance. Free parking on premises. Bus stop 2 mins walk away. A bus ride to Germantown transit center or MARC train station is less than 10 mins. Shady Grove Metro Station is a short drive away. House rules: We work from home, so have invested in ultra-speed Wi-Fi internet. We have 2 friendly dogs (senior Maltese mix 12 lbs. and adult Labrador Retriever-Shar Pei mix 80 lbs.). We keep our dogs up to date on their vaccinations and cleanliness. We don’t let dogs access the guest bedroom or bathroom, but they access all the shared spaces. Please note that these are not hypoallergenic dog breeds. If you or other guests in your party are allergic to or scared of dogs, this place may not be appropriate for you. If you’re not fond of dogs, we will try to limit their access to shared spaces during your stay. After all, we want everyone to have a pleasant experience during your stay. Our master bedroom, two home offices, and basement are off-limits to all guests. Common courtesies like clean-up after use and returning resources to their original state are expected. We ask that you refrain from bringing any weapons and illegal drugs, smoking or vaping, and partying in our home and on our property. We cannot accommodate babies, children, or pets. Due to safety and liability reasons, only guests listed in the booking (prior to check-in) are allowed on the premises.
