This is a lovely home to stay in for those looking to explore the Bay Area. It is a quintessential Mill Valley house near Mt.Tamalpais, Stinson Beach, and San Francisco. It is a short walk to the village where there are shops, restaurants and theaters. Hiking trails are nearby. The house is located on a hillside and there are quite a few stairs . There is a studio apartment downstairs where I sometimes stay there with my poodle, Gigi. The space There is a gorgeous master bedroom suite, with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Another bedroom has a queen bed. There is a daybed in the living room. The house has a chef’s kitchen, an elegant dining area, large living room with cathedral ceilings with floor to ceiling windows, outside deck with a view of the valley. It is a short walk to the village of downtown Mill Valley. 30 minutes will get you into downtown San Francisco, Berkeley, or Stinson Beach. The chef's kitchen is equipped with state of the art appliances. It is always well stocked. Hardwood floors and carpeting throughout. Filled with art collected from around the world. There is also a separate Studio where Joan sometimes stays . It can be rented along with the main house and has room for one adult or two children with bathroom and small kitchen. $125.00, per night. Guest access The upstairs house is yours to enjoy. I sometimes stay in downstairs in a separate studio with my dog, Gigi when I am not traveling. Other things to note The house is a five minute walk to the village of Mill Valley where there are shops, restaurants, theaters and a market. It is a 10 minute drive tomMuir Woods, unless you choose to hike in. Nearby hiking and biking trails, and a wonderful park within walking distance. San Francisco is a 20 minute drive away and 40 minutes to the Wine Country. San Francisco is about a 25 minute drive.
