The Roost

The Roost is perfect for hunters, fishermen, families, friends and more. With its location in NE Arkansas, it is in dove, duck, and goose migration paths and surrounded by 5 rivers for fishing. The Roost sleeps 12, has a full kitchen, bathroom, storage room, and two bedrooms. The custom craftsmanship in this cabin creates a rustic feel, which is perfect for this quaint little town. Reyno is near two larger towns and many areas for outdoor activities. Families, children, and pets are welcome! The space Fully functional kitchen including stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plates, glasses (do not throw away the aluminum cups, they are washable and reusable), utensils, and more. Full bathroom with shower and hooks for up to 12. Please use the gray towels, hand towels, and wash clothes on top of the lockers. There is body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower for your use. The lockers are for individual toiletries for renters. The Roost has a tankless continuous water heater for multiple showers for guests. The small bedroom offers bunk beds for sleeping six. There are plug-ins and phone holders for each bed for your use. The master bedroom offers two queens and two top bunks. There are plug-ins and phone holders for each bed for your use. We have high-speed internet and TV with Netflix available for guests. There is a storage room available for hunting/fishing supplies. There is a charcoal barbeque grill for your use. Please use it out in the gravel and clean it when you are finished. There are 3 smoke alarms in the cabin, please notify Verlen if there are any issues with them or if they go off unexpectedly. Security Camera Information: Your safety matters. This property features 3 exterior security cameras. They do not look into any interior spaces. The cameras record sound and video when activated by motion. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, fire pit, bbq grill outside, dog kennel, and parking area. Other things to note What to do around Reyno, Arkansas! -Two blocks down Maple from the Roost is A & A Grocery & Grill, it is a local family-owned convenience store and full-service restaurant. You can also order Hunt Brothers pizza from there. They are closed on Sunday. -11 miles east of Reyno is Corning, Arkansas. They have a few restaurants and stores for your convenience. -15 miles southwest is Pocahontas, Arkansas. This is the nearest large town with many restaurants and shopping options. Rivers, Rivers, Rivers!! The Roost is less than a mile from boat access to the Current River, this river is known for boating, fishing, floating, kayaking, and swimming. The Black River has 3 boat access ramps within 3 miles of the Roost and is known for boating and fishing. The Black Rivers flows through the Dave Donaldson Wildlife Management Area. The Fourche River is 10 miles from the Roost and is known for boating and fishing. The Eleven Point River is 20 miles from the Roost and is known for boating, fishing, floating, kayaking, and swimming. The Spring River is 25 miles from the Roost and is known for boating, fishing, floating, kayaking, and swimming. Dave Donaldson Wildlife Management Area The Roost is 3 miles from the Dave Donaldson WMA. Dave Donaldson Black River Wildlife Management Area is a 25,000 wildlife preserve in Clay, Greene, and Randolph Counties. Deer, crow, dove, quail, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, and waterfowl hunting are popular here during their seasons.
