Riversdale Lodge is the perfect venue for up to 20 guests over 9 bedrooms. (if you hire the Annex separately) Located just 40 minutes by car or train from London and only 35 minutes by car from Heathrow. Enjoy paddle boarding, canoeing and boat rides on the river, indoor and outdoor dining, splash pool and glorious open plan kitchen and living area. All this, nestled in an area of natural beauty, overlooking the Thames and the moor beyond. If you are Vat register you can claim this back. Riversdale Lodge has all the luxury of a boutique hotel and all the comfort of a family home. It has 8 spacious and exquisitely finished bedrooms, mostly twins and 2 super king, dressed with luxurious linen. All single beds can be pushed together to make a double bed. The 5 bathrooms (plus a wc) are finished with marble surfaces, hardwood floors, and Italian fittings. There is underfloor heating throughout to keep you cosy. (we also have an annex which is available for an extra fee if you are over 16.) The main room has a gorgeous open plan kitchen, room for 20 to dine at the table, and a seating area where guests can gather for drinks or games looking down the long lawn to the river. On warm evenings, open the glass wall and dine out on the patio or dangle your feet in the splash pool.(this can be heated at an extra cost) Or take yourself down to the jetty to gather around the fire pit or snuggle up in the meditation orb. We also have garden toys including Badminton, water guns and a paddling pool with hot tap down by the waters edge. The house also has a large top lit studio, perfect for group session or dressed with 3 sofas for meetings. Above the studio is the roof garden, planted with herbs and vegetables and with river views, an idyllic spot for your morning tea. We can help with including booking wellness practitioners to do any kind of wellness class in the yoga studio, pampering sessions in the house, restaurants recommendations, caterers, paddle boarding lessons or boat hire. Guest access The entire house is available to you, apart from the small self-contained annex at the rear of the house, by the rear gates. This has its own private access and is locked off from the rest of the house, so will not impact your stay. This annex is available as an extra if you go above 16 people. It will not be rented to other guests while you have booked the main house, but may be used by the owners. The flat above the garage has the house keeper’s apartment. She is on site if you have any problems. We have 1 friendly cat that live on site. Other things to note We live in a calm leafy lane, and care about our neighbours, so we cannot accept bookings for parties that are likely to be noisy.
