Ideal place for an authentic and quiet stay in the heart of Tyrol. Threshold-free (except for terrace and front door, see photos) The space Upon entering, there is a spacious guest toilet and a cloakroom on the right. The interior of the apartment is threshold-free. Straight ahead, it goes right to the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen that connects through the dining area to the sunny living room with a comfortable sofa and a lovely view. All this forms a quiet space. Upon entering to the left, there is first a small laundry room with an energy-efficient washing machine and dryer. Next to it is the spacious bathroom that has a second toilet, a barrier-free shower, a double sink and a mirror cabinet with optimal lighting. There are plenty of hooks and storage options available. The next door is the lovely bedroom. It contains a large Tyrolean wardrobe with more than enough hangers for even the most fashion-conscious guest! On the large double bed are cotton sheets and down pillows and down duvets. There are several options to darken the bedroom as needed. The door and the window that can be opened are equipped with a screen. If you can't sleep for a while, then you will at least be happy with the mountains and stars! In the bedroom, there is also a small table, which one of the owners turns into a desk with a dining room chair, creating a quiet workspace. Not big, but a super place with a view! Natural choices have been made throughout the property as much as possible. That's why the furniture is made of wood, leather, fabric and reed as much as possible. All rooms have underfloor heating under the wooden floor. To keep the temperature as optimal as possible, there is, among other things, sun protection in the form of a marquis and there are large horizontal slats. On the terrace, there is plenty of space to relax, eat or work with a view! Hiking trails start right from the door, including the Jacobspad to Santiago de Compostella. Guest access Of course, all the space is fully at your disposal when you stay in Murmeltier. We only ask that you enter the garden/grass as little as possible. For the time being, we do not have any partitions between the apartments of our neighbors to keep the beautiful view unobstructed, but that also means that you would look inside from the grass at the neighbors (who are very nice and live there permanently). Of course, the terrace is all yours! The apartment is easy to live in for guests with walking difficulties. From the wide parking lot, the entrance door is equipped with a threshold aid, the elevator to -4 (our garden level) has no threshold, the front door has a small elevation of 2 cm high, otherwise the apartment is threshold-free. To the terrace there is an elevation of up to 2 cm. Other things to note To avoid disappointment, here are some minor clarifications. You can create the separate workplace yourself by placing a dining room chair in the bedroom at the head end of the table (see bedroom photo). There are plenty of outlets, and you can isolate yourself well. Try not to be distracted by the beautiful view :) There is a large oven, no microwave. Although the (grass) garden is part of the apartment, we ask you to stay on the spacious terrace. Because we have decided with the neighbors to keep the grassy area open for an optimal view, entering the grass would mean that you can look inside their apartment. The apartment is suitable for disabled people. There are no thresholds. However, there are two elevations of up to 2 cm at the front door and the terrace door. If you are the driver yourself and are disabled, a provision can be made against a deposit so that you do not have to leave the car to operate the lever. Some of our nice neighbors live permanently in Alpenresidenz Grinnerhof. They value their peace and quiet. There is a smart TV, without local channels. We have done our best to decorate the apartment stylishly and as much as possible with natural materials. This sometimes also means that they are slightly more vulnerable than the standard sturdy vacation furniture. Therefore, our simple request is not to use interior furniture on the terrace. To spare the wooden floor, please use the outdoor furniture only outside. If you miss something during your stay, or if something can be improved, just let us know. We will do our best!
