A Seal's Life with Kayaks

This oceanfront property is located in Bar Harbor, Maine just minutes form Acadia National Park. This is nestled on the coast and was once part of an artist colony. While enjoying this property you will see many seals sunbathing on the rocks just out your front door. This home is 1 mile down a private road and surrounded by 100 acres of trails. It is truly a magical place. There are kayaks available at the cabin for a small fee. Complete the waiver and pay owners upon arrival. The space This property has a 4 night minimum. If you are looking for less than 4 nights please message me for possibilities. This is a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom cottage literally on the ocean. We have completed a new bathroom with an infrared sauna and steam/rain shower. Enjoy days on the porch listening to and watching the seals; relax in the evenings around the fire pit. There is a grill on the porch and a fully stocked kitchen(you supply your food). All bed linens are provided and one bath set per person. Kayaks are available once you sign the waiver and return to me. Guest access Basement is locked. Everything else is all yours. We do have a few rules. There are 2 non-working indoor fireplaces. No indoor fires as they are not safe. There is a fire pit on the porch for your enjoyment; please do not leave fire unattended. We allow only 6 registered guests; no parties or events. No smoking and no pets. Please do not have shellfish in the house for allergy reasons. There are lobster pounds close by to cook your shellfish and enjoy on the porch. There is a trash barrel outside for all shellfish. Please remove shoes at the door. Relax and have a great stay! Please contact me if you are looking for fewer that 4 days as I may have options. Please respect the neighbors and keep the noise level reasonable. Please note that we provide bed linens and one set of towels per person. We leave 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom and a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. There is shampoo and conditioner in each bathroom as well as a hairdryer. Dish soap and dishwasher soap are provided in the kitchen. Be very careful on the rocks; they do get slippery. This is an oceanfront property that gets a nice breeze. There are 2 air conditioning units for your use to cool the house but there is not central air. Please read and understand check our procedures. We charge a minimal cleaning fee. Please leave the cottage in good condition so we can keep the cost low. Nonsmoking and no pets. Please read the manual for the sauna or contact me if you have any questions. Registered guests only. No Parties or events. Checkin starts at 4PM. Checkout is 10AM. No cooking or eating of shellfish in the house. The maximum occupancy is 6.
