Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up overlooking the dining room of a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their bed every night in front of the window and sometimes a sheep walks by. Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no WiFi and no TV. There is a large table to play games together and a lovely sofa to drink a glass of wine together. Starting October 16, the horses or sheep will be sleeping in the stable next to you on Fridays and Saturdays. During the entire stay, you can relax with them, the other days this experience is optional to book.): The apartment is in an old stable at the back of the farmhouse surrounded by the animals. Chickens, rabbits, pigs, sheep and a whole herd of horses that live in freedom are your cozy neighbors. The stable is actually 1 large space with a separate beautiful bathroom that makes you forget that you sleep in a stable! By means of a half-high wooden enclosure with doors, a "bedroom" has been created. Here is a spacious double bed. If you come with more than two people, the lovely lounge corner is to transform into a slightly smaller double bed (1.60 wide and the sofa fold out to a comfortable double bed. For example, it is also possible to make beautiful memories with 6 people. In the open kitchen there is a coffee maker and a kettle. There is also a microwave, a large 1-burner stove and a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment. For example, you can make a delicious wok meal, large pan of soup, or, for example, an evening of cozy cheese fondues. There is no private garden as with our tiny house, but there is the possibility to sit outside on the small terrace directly at the entrance which belongs to the stable. In the morning with nice weather and the awakening of the farm animals, it's really ultimate here with a cup of coffee or tea and the rising sun. Would you still like to enjoy an evening on a spacious and covered terrace among the horses? Then it is possible (if available) to optionally reserve 'De kleine paardentuin' for an evening. The animals in freedom: All animals live in freedom as much as possible, no cubes for the rabbits and no stables for the horses! That's what I stand for and what I gun all the animals. They play together, cuddle together, and sometimes fight. All very pure and natural behavior and even in the night you can sometimes get something from it. There is also a lot of care for the animals and that also happens around the stable and I sometimes cuddle with the animals myself = ). So if you are looking for something where it is quiet, there are fewer animals and where you can lie private topless in the garden, it is better to book our other little cottage; ). From the stable you have a view of the dining room of the entire herd of horses where they walk in and out whenever they want. Julius and Bommel also live in "the dining room" and make their nest every night in front of the window, where they prefer to sleep. The sheep come to look up the shade or drought every now and then, this always depends on the weather conditions and what they feel most comfortable with. It is the experience of sleeping nearby and with a view of the animals in freedom which makes it so special. A little back to basic, without WiFi but with the luxury of a lovely bathroom ; )! Cozy up the hustle and bustle? By car, you can reach cozy Sneek in 5 minutes. Shops, terraces and cozy crowds. In the summer months, you can reach the Sneekermeer in 5 minutes by car. At the fence, you can always admire the rabbits, chickens and horses. Would you like to really get in touch with the animals? Feeding them, cuddling with them, brushing them or even working together, there is the possibility to book this and we visit all the animals on the farm together. Fun for young and old!
