The House At the Y - A quaint stay in wine country

Enjoy a stay in the heart of the Finger Lakes overlooking Keuka Lake, minutes from the historic Village of Hammondsport. Take in the many local attractions and world renown wineries, craft breweries and distilleries with Steuben Brewery and Point of the Bluff Winery being your next-door neighbors. Within a short drive you can find local restaurants, museums, amusement parks, golf courses, hiking trails, boat/kayak rentals along with fishing and swimming areas at the head of Keuka Lake. The space The house is a newly remodeled 1910 farmhouse. On the first floor, you will find the kitchen, living room, bathroom and the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully furnished and is equipped with a dishwasher and electric stove/oven. The bathroom offers a shower and laundry area with a washer and dryer. The spacious master bedroom offers a work space and a king bed. The second floor is comprised of a second bedroom and a sitting area. The sitting area is furnished with a television and futon. The bedroom can sleep four with one full and one queen bed. The outside yard space offers a fire pit (guests are asked to purchase wood locally), propane grill, sitting area and lawn games. The house is on a local well and septic. Guests are welcome to drink the water, but may prefer to bring their own bottled water. The house is heated with electric baseboard heat, during winter months it is suggested that guests bring slippers. Guest access The entire house is designed for guest use. Guests will access to all spaces within the house. In addition, the yard space will also be available for guests to use. This space (dependent on weather) will be set up with a fire pit and BBQ that guests are welcome to use. There is small supply room at the back of the house reserved for our hosting supplies. This room can only be accessed from outside and along with the basement are the only spaces guests will not have access to within the house. There are also two storage barns in close proximity, guests will not have access to the barns nor the land around them.
