Only 15mins drive from the Eurotunnel & 20mins from Dover Port it is an ideal stopover for European travellers. Situated a minutes walk from the Pub and village shop. The space Enter the newly refurbished cottage by stepping into a comfortable lounge area. With a lovely log burner and comfortable seating. The brand new cottage kitchen, is located next to the lounge. With pantry, built in fridge and freezer. Washing machine, ninja air fryer, kettle and all kitchen essentials. The staircase leads up from the kitchen, to a large airy master bedroom with king size bed. The second bedroom is a smaller cozy room a double bed. The washroom is located just off the landing. New modern washroom with walk in shower, toilet and sink. Outside there is a small enclosed courtyard. With rag stone walls and secure gate. Wooden outside seating. The Royal Oak Pub is just steps away from the cottage. Its a newly renovated pub and does pub meals, as well as takeaway. Another, very popular pub restaurant is the farriers. This is about a 10 minute walk if that. As you come out the cottage turn right towards the village shop. You'll see a footpath that runs along the side of the shop carpark. This will take you along the millenium green. Once at the end of the pathway. Cross the road and turn right. The farriers is just down the hill on the left. If your up for a slightly longer walk. There is The Dog House at Evegate. This is a 25 minute walk. The Dog House is quite a fun micro pub / vinyl bar. They often have a singer and guitar player or small band playing of a weekend. As you come out the cottage turn right and follow the road round. Keep walking straight until you come to a T junction. Turn left there and Evegate business and Artisan centre is just there on your right. It's also is home to some lovely shops and Barbara - Anns coffee shop. There isn't any pavements on the walk so best to do in daylight. Although we do have a local taxi company called A20 taxis. They are based at Evegate but usually best to book in advance. Finally also in walking distance is Koyla. About 15 minutes walk. This is a nepalese restaurant based in Mersham le Hatch. Turn left out of the cottage. Past the Royal Oak pub back up to the main Road. Via footpath on the left. Cross the A20 and turn right. Mersham Le Hatch is along there on the left. Mersham le hatch is also home to the Secret Garden wedding venue. We are also in close driving distance to Port Lympne Zoo, Lympne castle & Westernhanger castle. All very popular wedding and party venues. Also in walking distance is Mersham Le Hatch Deer Park. This is a beautiful park to watch the deers and a great place to walk. Turn left out of the cottage. Past the Royal Oak pub back up to the main Road. Cross the A20. In front of you, will be a brown coloured bungalow. There is a footpath to the left of here, that takes you straight into the deer park. Just bare in mind it can get quite overgrown and muddy especially in this weather.
