Maison Bleu features an open concept theme which is great for relaxation and entertainment. Two spacious master bedrooms (one upstairs & one downstairs) boast king size beds, ensuite bathrooms, direct veranda access, and beautiful decor. One family suite (upstairs) features a full size bed, 1 bunk bed (for children weighing 60 lbs or less), and ensuite bathroom and direct veranda access. The fourth bedroom (downstairs) offers a full size bed and garden view. This bedroom's bathroom is located in hallway, immediately next to the bedroom door. Maison Bleu can accommodate 10 guests ( 8 adults max + 2 kids), not including infants under 2. Additionally, we host guests at our sister property, Villa McKenzie, which is also listed on Aribnb. Villa McKenzie can be rented along with Maison Bleu if you would like to host larger groups. Villa McKenzie's hot tub, pool and swim up bar are available for use by Maison Bleu guests when we are not hosting guests at Villa McKenzie. At Maison Bleu, we are eco-friendly. We promote this commitment to the environment by limiting our carbon footprint. As a result, we refresh linens every third day or as needed. In keeping with our commitment, we also encourage guests to turn off all lights and air conditioners when the rooms are not in use. Guests will have access to the entire home. Maison Bleu guests are welcome to use the hot tub, pool and swim up bar at our sister property, Villa McKenzie, located immediately next door. We are available throughout your stay to answer questions. Please ask questions through Airbnb's chat if they pertain to your booking. While on the property, you can message us on the chat or speak with our groundskeeper or other staff. Our neighborhood is in a quiet location. We are fortunate to have a small sand beach in our neighborhood (1-2 minute drive) from the villa. Additionally, we have access to another private beach (pictured in our photos) located in the next secured neighborhood (2 minute drive), where guests often kayak (we have kayaks on the property). House Rules 1. Maison Bleu is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted by the sea, away from the house & gazebo. 2. Guests are not permitted to invite visitors onto the property without prior approval. (Any violation of this policy will result in an immediate cancellation of your stay.) 3. No independent parties or excessive alcohol consumption on the property. Hosting events or parties (with or without extra guests) without prior approval is prohibited. 4. Our chef is available for early or late meals. Therefore, guests are not permitted to use the stove after the staff leaves. The microwave, electric kettle and coffee maker are available for use at any time and for additional meals that require the stove, please request the chef. 5. Staff must be allowed to enter for cooking and cleaning purposes. Housekeeping typically enters around 8:30 am but will not enter bedrooms until guest permission is given. Start times may be adjusted upon request. 6. Housekeeper is the only person allowed to operate washer and dryer. Let her know if you need laundry service. Please do not change the settings on the machine. 7. Additional bedding: If additional or change of bedding is needed please ask the housekeeper and it will be provided to you. 8. Bottles and glassware are not permitted while in the pool. Please use the plastic stemware & cups instead of glass. 9. Children are not allowed in the pool without active adult supervision. 10. We prefer not to spray harmful insecticides inside the house, so we kindly ask you to refrain from eating in bedrooms. Adults can have drinks anywhere in the house. Please refrain from allowing children to eat or drink outside the living and dining room areas. 11. All inquiries should be made to co/hosts through Airbnb. Any additional request for services must be addressed through Airbnb while at the property. 12. For photo/video shoots, please request pricing. 13. Specifics About Air Conditioning: * When not inside the property, we require that the air conditioner be turned off. While we provide you with keys to lock individual bedrooms, we require guests to turn off AC when not staying in their rooms (ie: spending time in the pool or on excursions). * If rooms are kept locked and housekeeping is unable to turn off AC on your behalf, and AC is left on, we will have to charge $100/day. * When AC is in use, be sure to close all windows and doors. Thank you for your attention to the rules around AC. Like on most islands, AC is extremely expensive and we prefer not to require an extra charge unless usage goes beyond our simple rules. 14. Maison Bleu can accommodate 10 guests (8 adults max + 2 kids), not including infants under 15. For pricing, you must enter accurately the number of guests (not to exceed 8 adults), and the correct pricing will be generated through Airbnb. We reserve the right to send a request for payment or deny accommodation all together should your actual guest count upon arrival exceed the count you entered on Airbnb. 16. Rules On Noise: Our properties are located in a residential area and our Home Owners Association requests that that music be turned off/down by 11pm on weeknights and by midnight on weekends so it can’t be heard by neighbors (who do call us if noise is too loud). Additionally, please be aware that Jamaica has the Noise Abatement Act, provides that noise on private premises such as music, musical instruments or otherwise, which is audible within 100 meters of the source of that sound is not allowed under this Act. Punishment starts with a fine and could also go to imprisonment. ***Any violation of the house rules will result in an immediate cancellation of your stay. ***Any damage to property will result in an immediate cancellation of your stay and full security deposit.
