The Cozy Cabin on Sunset Hill, DC

Quiet and relaxing place to stay just minutes away from prime public hunting and fishing. The space Cozy apartment is a quiet complex just steps away from Toronto Wildlife Area walk-in hunting, 2 miles from Cross Timbers State Park and all of its wonderful walk-in hunting area, 7 miles from Woodson State Fishing Lake and its numerous acres of wooded and grassland walk-in hunting areas and 8 miles from Lone Pine Hunting Preserve. Whether you're on a hunting trip or just a weekend getaway to the lake, this apartment is a great place to relax at the end of a fun filled day. Apartment 103 has a full sized bed as well as a set of twin bunk beds for your sleeping accommodations. The couch also has a pull out hide-a-bed that converts to a queen sized bed for additional sleeping space. Pillows and bedding can be found for the couch in the chase lounge as well as a few throw in blankets in the ottoman. The TV is a Roku TV for your entertainment needs. We have a wonderful little market (Sandstone Market) on main Street that offers wonderful breakfasts and lunches as well as general snacks and limited grocery amenities as well as a Bait Shop for all your fishing needs. Just north up Highway 105 is a little gas station that offers dining and grocery options as well. We understand that hunting and family trips can include mans best friend, your canine companion is welcome here at Sunset Hill. We do ask that you let us know that you would like to bring mans best friend during your stay, that all dogs be kept on a leash when outside of the apartment and please clean up after your pet when they have used the outdoors. There are resident dogs that live within the complex so no unfriendly dogs please. We realize that dogs like to bark but we ask that quiet hours be respected and as well as the consideration of the resident that lives in the apartment next door. There is a large dumpster just around the corner from the apartment by the alley for trash disposal. Laundry services are located just across the sidewalk from the apartment in the building with the blue-gray door. Washer and dryer are coin operated and are available for your use should you need them during your stay. We live just a few miles away and are available if you need our assistance at any time. Guest access A small patio space is available for sitting just outside the front door of the apartment. There is a picnic table adjacent to the apartment just under one of the shade trees for your use. We just ask that guests respect that this item is a community use item and that residents may be using it at any given time. Other things to note We do ask that guests respect the privacy of our complex residents. We do have quiet hours from 10pm to 6am. We have ample parking in the parking lot, please no parking in the grass or alley way behind apartment.
