We’re so happy to welcome you to Pretty Wood, a calm and comfortable retreat, lovingly restored for those in search of peace, quiet, and a slower pace of life. One of three traditional cottages here at Top Riley, Pretty Wood Cottage has lovely views across the surrounding countryside and a private patio area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while the birds serenade you. The cottage is wonderfully peaceful, a place to pause, read, potter, and recharge. To protect that tranquility for everyone staying here, we kindly ask that quiet hours are observed from 9pm to 9am. Inside, the cottage is cosy and well insulated, with central heating to keep you warm whatever the weather. There’s also a log burner, with a small bundle of logs to get you started. Extra logs are available to purchase for £5 per bag should you wish to extend your fireside evenings. Unfortunately this property is not suitable for babies or children and therefore is adult only. You’ll find a SMART TV, so feel free to log into your own apps like Netflix or Amazon. We do offer Wi-Fi, though please note, as we are a rural escape, speeds may not be suitable for business use. We hope it encourages you to truly switch off. Parking is available for one car in the main cottage car park. If you're bringing more than one vehicle, there’s an overflow car park by the horse box as you enter Top Riley.
