The property offers two independent semi-detached houses — Writer’s Retreat and Traveller’s House — sharing a spacious pool and a large lawn, perfect for relaxation. Each house boasts its own unique outdoor space. Located in Gondarém, a charming shale village on a hillside with breathtaking views, it’s just 45 minutes from Porto! The space Perfect space for a getaway or writers' retreat. With a brand new full kitchen and bath, fast internet, cable TV, A/C, and a huge and exclusive spot for outdoor grill and dining, you will relish the amazing, private sense of being surrounded by nature. At 07:30 in the morning, the baker will leave bread and croissants at the door of the house, the other accompaniments for breakfast will be in the kitchen pantry or in the fridge. Guest access Guests will have access to the outdoor area, with tables, a barbecue, a swimming pool, and a parking space. Regarding pool usage, It will be shared by 2 houses: Writer's Retreat (maximum 3 persons) and Traveller´s House (maximum 4 persons). Regarding safety and despite all the efforts that we have made to reduce risks, children should never, NEVER stop being supervised by their parents, especially in the pool area, BECAUSE THE POOL IS NOT GUARDED! Other things to note Just a 45 minutes drive from Oporto city center, 1 Hour from the aiport, 1H30 from Regua (Port Wine main destination) 45 minutes drive from the Atlantic Ocean or 25 minutes from Paiva walkways. It´s the perfect localization if you want to explore the portuguese northern region.
