Little Big Tree Cabin

Big Tree Cabin is a 1920’s cabin that has been fully updated and brought into the modern age with red oak hardwood floors throughout. We have kept the connection with nature and combined it with handmade simplicity and country warmth. The home is surrounded by majestic Douglas Fir, Incense Cedar and Ponderosa Pine. Most of these trees can be considered “old growth”. Many of them are 150+ years old. The space It is a one bedroom, one bath home with a bonus room called the sun room that has a futon available if a second bed is needed for one of the two guests. There is a mini split that both heats and cools the home. The bedroom, bath and bonus room have electric wall heaters. The cabin is located in what we consider a rural neighborhood near Prospect, Oregon. There is NO hookup available for Electric Vehicles! Guest access It is a complete home with all of the basics. The kitchen is fully equipped with range, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. There is a small propane BBQ available. NO EV HOOKUP ALLOWED! Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY! The house and property is not suitable for children under 12. Other things to note Prospect is located 5 miles from the cabin. There is a small grocery and gas station there. If you plan on preparing your own meals you may want to shop for groceries in Medford or Shady Cove before arriving at the cabin. There is a small cafe in Prospect and Prospect Historic Hotel Dinner House (summer months). We should also mention Beckie’s Cafe the at Union Creek Resort on the way to Crater Lake.
