Offering handicapped-accessible features like an external elevator and easy-entry shower, a dog friendly fenced in backyard, a fire pit, charcoal grill, front and back screened porches, outdoor shower and boat friendly parking under the house. Please note that the elevator key must be picked up at the Oak Island Accommodations office upon check in. The moment you enter the front door, you’ll feel at home. Cuddle up on the oversized sectional, prepare dinners in the well stocked kitchen or enjoy a cup of coffee on either of the screened in porches. The primary bedroom provides a king bed, with attached private bath offering his and hers vanities, walk-in shower, and a sunken garden tub. The dining area offers seating for up to eight guests with additional seating for four at the adjacent counter. The modern kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz counters and a tile backsplash. A high chair and kid friendly dishes are also included for little guests. Off the dining area you’ll find two additional bedrooms: the roomy bunk room is furnished with a double bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. The third bedroom features a comfortable king bedroom suite. Just outside these rooms you’ll find the second bath with a tub/shower combo. Privacy doors can be used to separate this wing of the house from the main living area. A second screened-in porch and an open deck overlook the fenced-in backyard, featuring a fire pit and charcoal grill. This space is ideal for children to play freely while parents relax. This home is dog friendly: one dog weighing up to 25lbs is allowed per reservation. Other things to note The reservation holder must be at least 25 years of age and be present at the booked property during the dates of stay. Pet-friendly properties accept dogs only. This property will accept one dog weighing up to 25lbs per reservation. Pet fees of $175 plus tax will need to be added after booking and paid directly through the host. About Yaupon Beach The Yaupon Beach section of Oak Island is the first that greets visitors crossing onto Oak Island from the G.V. Barbee Bridge and includes the area from McGlamery Street (where you’ll find the Oak Island Accommodations office) on the eastern edge to the western boundary at NE and SE 79th Streets. The Yaupon Beach area is also home to the Oak Island Pier, several oceanfront restaurants and a commercial district, making it the ideal choice for visitors who want to find themselves in the middle of the action. During the summer the beach adjoining the pier is a prime spot for beach volleyball matches, horseshoe tournaments and an occasional landing spot for skydivers from the Cape Fear Regional Jetport.
