The house is located on a seven hectare property with spectacular mountain and ocean views of the Kekoldi jungle reserve, and Cahuita national park. It feels like you have left the world behind as there are no neighbors, only birds, jungle, and ocean, in this very private estate. The house has been designed to be open and breezy, capturing the cross-winds of the jungle. Every room in the house, including the three bedrooms, have ocean views. The master bedroom, with its king size bed and high ceilings and a beautiful en-suite bathroom, has a bath tub and a balcony with views to the ocean. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. And the third bedroom, also with an en-suite bathroom, has two bunk beds. The social areas include an indoor sitting room with an 80 inch cable TV, and a living room area with comfortable built in seating that is great for gatherings. Lastly, I love to cook! I have designed the open-plan kitchen to be a social space. There is a dining table in the kitchen area which also communicates with the main social area providing a fantastic space for people to congregate together. The kitchen has an industrial stove and oven, and all modern appliances, including a selection of spices. There will be drinkable water and a local toasted coffee that is my favorite for you to enjoy. I have left all of these to share with you in case you enjoy cooking as much as I do! The property and gardens have been in the family for more than twelve years and in that time we have planted many fruit trees from all over the world and hardwoods. The wildlife and birds you will encounter is magical. And the fruits harvested during your stay will be yours to enjoy. The property also has a lovely swimming pool that looks out over the ocean. Around the pool are comfortable loungers and two thatched cabanas for shade. ACCESS ONLY BY 4x4. As mentioned before this is a 7 hectare state, and you are welcome to explore it and admire it as we do, just remember this is the jungle and you are entering wildlife’s territory. If you would like a tour around the fruit trees or other areas we will have our gardener guide you. We can be contacted at any time during your stay. And Ericka our housekeeper will be doing light chores every day in the social areas. Just down the hill you can find supermarkets, a local hospital, and pharmacies. The property is perfectly located in between the two major towns of Cahuita, Puerto Viejo and their beaches. There are also two waterfalls 10 min from the property that you can experience in a sunny day. Access to our property is only by 4x4.
