The space Stay at Bear Rock Camping – The Ridge- Camping with Mountain Views Located in The Ridge section of Bear Rock Camping, each site features a spacious canvas tent on a raised platform with stunning views of the North Country. Your campsite includes: • 1 Queen Bed • Wood Stove for chilly nights • Adirondack Chairs & Picnic Table • Fire Pit with Swivel Grill Grate • Park-Style Charcoal Grill • Outdoor Shower • Private Porta-Potty • Private Hammock • Basic Grilling Utensils • Endless Mountain Views Each site is privately spaced and offers its own unique mountaintop vantage point—perfect for relaxing or exploring everything Northern New Hampshire has to offer. Guest access As our guest, you’ll have full private access to your entire campsite, including: • A fully furnished canvas tent on a raised platform • Private outdoor hot-water shower • Private porta-potty • Fire pit with swivel cooking grate • Park-style charcoal grill • Picnic table and Adirondack chairs • Private Hammock • Parking at your campsite You’ll also have access to: • The Bear Rock Camping Store (hours vary) for gear, firewood, snacks, and trail info • Direct ATV/OHRV trail access right from your site • Complimentary trash pickup • Optional rentals and upgrades (coolers, cots, discounted Side by Side rentals – available upon request) Whether you're here to relax or ride, you'll have everything you need for a peaceful and adventure-ready stay. Other things to note 🛏 What’s Included: Your tent is stocked with clean bedding, a fitted sheet on each mattress, and basic grilling utensils. Please bring your own pillows, top blankets, and towels, as these are not provided. 🔥 Firewood & Charcoal: We pre-stock each tent with up to 10 bundles of firewood and 3 bags of charcoal. You’ll only be charged for what you use at checkout—$10 per wood bundle, $12 per charcoal bag. 🚿 Outdoor Shower: Each campsite has a private, open-air shower with hot water powered by a rain barrel system. A team member may stop by during your stay to refill the water if needed. 🐻 Bear Safety: We’re in bear country! Please keep all food, coolers, and scented items inside your vehicle—not in the tent. A bear-proof trash barrel is provided at each site. 📶 Cell Service & Wi-Fi: Cell service can be limited. We provide a Wi-Fi hotspot at the camp office for messaging and basic access if needed but will not reach to any tent sites. 🗺 Adventure Access: You'll have direct trail access for ATV/OHRV riding, plus easy driving distance to waterfalls, hiking, fishing spots, and Canada. Rentals and unguided tours are available—ask us anytime. (Highly recommend to book ahead) 🚫 Trail Hours: ATV/OHRV trails close 30 minutes after sunset and reopen 30 minutes before sunrise.
