Take our path to a trout brook & sitting area. Close to waterfalls, skiing & hiking. It's an easy drive to Kaaterskill Falls, the village of Catskill or Saugerties, city of Hudson, Woodstock, Hunter or Windham. Owners live on premises with 2 friendly cats. The space Our classic Cape is on 19 acres of beautiful property including a meadow, woods, and a path to the stream. The Kaaterskill and Kiskatom creeks converge on our property before winding their way down to the Catskill Creek and Hudson River. Your peaceful, private, second floor apartment with balcony is bright, airy and well appointed. There is plenty of storage. There is a selection of k-cups for coffee and cocoa as well as creamers, an assortment of tea bags, jams, butter & sugar and the most used herbs & spices for cooking. We often leave a selection of homemade goodies for our guests to enjoy on their first day here. Guests call the views and stargazing spectacular and magical! You can see Kaaterskill High Peak, the Kaaterskill Clove and the Escarpment. Our guide book includes maps, activity ideas and restaurant listings. There is also a selection of brochures and maps for our area and surrounding counties. There is so much to see and do! Guest access Guests have the entire upstairs apartment and balcony. They have access to our well manicured lawn with a path leading to a creek side space with bench that is perfect for reading, fishing or just enjoying a beverage while watching for wildlife. They can also gaze out at our lovely meadow from the provided lawn chairs and bird watch or watch deer grazing. If you're from a city, you will be amazed at the stargazing from our peaceful property! Other things to note Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request. This is a completely non-smoking property. No candles, incense, vaping, pets or parties either please. Absolutely no Airbnb services (e.g., massages, private chefs, pet sitters) are permitted onsite. There is a retractable screen door at your entrance on the balcony. Please use ski wax outside on the lawn only. Thank you. Please be aware that public transportation is limited to taxis and Uber, which are not always readily available. There is a wonderful, family owned for generations, farm market that includes greenhouses full of flowers and vegetables for planting or hanging within easy walking distance from Mother's day to Thanksgiving.
