Cottage in Český Ráj

Escape from the stress of everyday life to the Podkrkonoše nature to a lovely cottage off the beaten path above the Palučinský brook. Cottage is like from a fairy tale, tiled stove, striped blankets, views of the garden, forest, hillside and the Palučinský brook, with all the comforts of home. In the evenings the deer come to the meadow below the cottage and in summer the hillside above is full of wild thyme, daisies and wild strawberries.... Just a beautiful place for your peace and quiet. The space The cottage is situated in a secluded area surrounded by nature, on the outskirts of the village of Chuchelná under the Kozákov mountain. The cottage provides accommodation for up to 6 people in three bedrooms and a central living room with kitchen. There is of course a bathroom with shower, bath and separate toilet. The cottage will provide you with a perfect retreat from the hectic times and offer a place for relaxation and active rest. Enjoy the summer days by sitting outside. A barbecue or an outdoor fireplace is available. In winter, enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine and warm up by the tiled stove. Guest access You have the whole cottage and outdoor space, except for the workshop, barn and basement. The way to us is by road from Turnov towards Semily, then along a track for about 800m to Doly. The track is not suitable for sports cars with low suspension. We drive a Skoda superb and have no problem. Heating in the cottage is by woodburning stove only. There is also one electrical heater Shopping options are in Semily Lidl, Tesco & Penny Market - less then 10 minutes by car, or in Turnov about 15 minutes away. There are also restaurants in Semily, such as the Adria restaurant. Chuchelna is also known from the films of local resident Věra Plívová -Šimková, here she filmed Mice, Foxes and Gallows and Came to us fair. Other things to note The whole area is full of beautiful hiking trails and bike paths, just choose according to your mood, physique and weather. Kozákov with Rieger's cottage and lookout tower (10 min by car), is a famous place for paragliding flights and searching for precious stones with views of Trosky, Hruba Skala, Ještěd and Krkonoše. 20 min. by car to Hruba Skala and the rock town.ů and also the spa Sedmihorky, Valdštejn Castle, a beautiful hiking trail around the ponds Věžák, Nebák and Trosky Castle. Kost Castle with the Plakánek valley is not far away either. You can also go on a trip to the nearby swimming pool in Chuchelna or the Rieger Trail near Semily. The Giant Mountains are not far away either. It takes about 50 minutes to get there, but you can avoid expensive accommodation.
