Lakefront Cabin with Hot Tub

Looking for peace, quiet, and a wooded, lakefront escape? Love toasted marshmallows, soul-filling views, and pine-scented air? Pinecone Cottage is waiting for you! This 760-sq-foot A-frame home on Collins Lake in Mason County is freshly updated and ready for couples, friends and families. If you enjoy waterplay, beachfront naps, stories around the firepit, and those still mornings you can only get on a lake, you just found your happy place. The space Sleeps 6 1 queen downstairs 2 queens in loft 1 bathroom (tub and shower combo) The deck offers lake views and features 1 gas BBQ and a handmade cedar table that seats 4, plus additional seating. You’ll find everything you need for cooking (fridge, oven/stove, toaster, and dishes for up to 6). For coffee lovers, we have a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. Amenities for kids include: board games, books, plastic dishware, and a child safety gate. The yard is fenced (except between the house and the water). But it has some steep portions and steps, so please supervise children while outside. The cabin is heated by a pellet stove (we’ll keep the pellets stocked in the winter) and wall heaters; a portable A/C unit is available in the summer. You’ll also enjoy: • High-speed internet/Wi-Fi • Smart speaker for Bluetooth tunes • 55” smart TV with Chromecast for connecting to your streaming services • Washer and dryer, ironing board and iron • Security camera in the doorbell and driveway (no other cameras) The property is accessed via smart lock; you’ll receive a code in advance. The Lake There are no motors on 11-acre Collins Lake! So you’ll be able to row in peace. Or bring your own gear to drop a line and sneak up on some trout, perch, or bass. Love to swim (or dogpaddle)? Get that suit on—there are no ski boats to watch out for! Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Note: There’s no place to play on the beach. The dock offers immediate access to the lake. The Fun Pack your sweet tooth and ghost stories, because there’s also a beachside wood firepit that seats 6, perfect for s’mores at night—or quiet coffee in the morning! Bring your own firewood and fire-making supplies. Prefer smaller bodies of water? Jump in the 6-person hot tub and soak your cares away. If the lake is your thing, 2 single kayaks are here for you. We have 4 adult life jackets available. Bringing little ones? Bring their little-sized life jackets along. The Furry Guests Speaking of littles, we love dogs! You can add 1 pup to your reservation, as long as they’re under 40 pounds and housebroken. But please don’t leave your furry buddy at the cottage alone—not even crated. The Parking There’s room for 3 cars on the driveway. There’s also plenty of room up on the road. The Area You’ll be 15 minutes to Belfair (less to the state park) and 90 minutes from Seattle. The Stairs Please note: Pinecone Cottage has quite a few stairs. There are a few leading down to the front door, some down to the water, and a couple to the hot tub. Look through the photos and make sure this is a good fit. Our Rules Maximum number of guests: 6 No parties. Only registered guests. The number of guests in the reservation is the maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time, not just overnight. No additional guests are allowed on the property without prior approval.
