The five stories of the Villa are crossed by a beautiful old staircase with inlaid wooden handrails from which stunning views can be glimpsed through arched windows. A new ELEVATOR is available to connect all the 5 Villa’s floors from the covered loggia up to the roof top and, just now, a stairlift for the disabled that descends from the patio area to the lemon grove and lawn level. In this way the Villa will also be largely accessible for people with disabilities or the very elderly with walking difficulties. The Villa, an historical building of about 400 sqm of internal spaces and around 1000 sqm exteriors, is recently refurbished to a high standard. It accommodates up to 16 people in 8 double ensuite rooms, on three flloors. All eight ensuite bedrooms have either balconies or large oval windows with stunning views overlooking the sea. Three of them, one on each floor, can be converted into twin beds, if needed. The bedrooms are decorated with art objects, valuable paintings and elegant pieces of furniture. All have small comfortable sitting areas and original terracotta floors, antique parquet and old handmade ceramics. All the bedrooms have sea view. 7 out of 8 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom, 1 has an adjacent bathroom. Each bathroom fitted with glass mosaics, hair-dryer, courtesy kit, large comfortable and relaxing hydro showers and, two of them, with Jacuzzi. All the bedrooms have been equipped with the most technologically advanced comforts: soundproofing, heating, independently controlled air conditioning, flat screen satellite TV, internet connection, mini-bar, safe with code, a dresser built in a closet space, luxurious linens and orthopedic mattresses and pillows. The ground floor has two entrances, both accessible straight off the coastal road. Entering through the main wooden door you find the lobby and the first two panoramic bedrooms with balconies and their own bathroom. On the lower floor, below the ground floor, there is a large wine cellars into the rock and the beautiful covered loggia: a panoramic living/dining terrace of about 130 square meters, completely covered with a pergola which supports centenary bougainvillea plants, and protected by a trasparent roller shutters tents in case of adverse weather conditions. It boosts tables, comfortable sofas, pizza oven and barbecue. There is also a new fully equipped professional kitchen provides 5 range stove top, large oven, a big double fridge, freezer and dish-washer. A central island with top in precious marble allows you to have control over the entire area, prepare your favorite cocktails and local recipes and still enjoy the view. This is the ideal area to have al fresco breakfast, lunch and romantic candle lights dinner with a breath-taking view of the sea and the coast. This covered Loggia is also the magic place for holding Guests Special Events during their weekly stay at the Villa. From this level you take a stair down to the flowered gardens below and the sea area. By a stairway of only 130 steps, through bougainvillea covered terraces, lemon and orange groves you reach the lawn with the relaxing area and the solarium. The first stop is a must, our enchanting lemon garden. A magic place where you may enjoy yoga or meditation session or simply relax by reading, listening to music or playing chess under the lemons. The second extended garden in your way to the sea is the one of the citrus fruits (mandarin, orange and grapefruit plants) and the large lawn. Two kids play areas, many dining tables, where Guests can enjoy stunning al fresco meals, a small garden kitchen unit, an infrared Sauna and and a new Unica Fitness Station are set into a natural cave, a changing room together with toilet and sink is also available nearby. Two pools are available (open time May to Oct, from 8 am to 8 pm): a swim hydromassage spa pool (4,30 x 2,5 m) and a new rounded children pool (4 m), both are located on the two rock terraces just upon the sea. And then a slice of private Mediterranean sea…. the Villa's two private and exclusive equipped platforms by the sea equipped with sunbeds with its steel ladders overhangs into the water. On their contours the sea draws a natural cozy bay that resembles the most desirable of the pools, this is the place where you can hear the breath of the ocean. Just a hundred meters on the right side a small pebble beach is reachable by swimming or by our tiny inflatble boat or the new two SUP at the Guests disposal. Other things to note HOUSE RULES FOR “DIMORA DI MARE” COMPOSITION OF PARTY The property can only accommodate the number of guest previously indicated. Passports of every member of your party must be supplied in advance, for police registration purposes, itìd be better send a Guests list via email (complete name, date and place of birth, current nationality) External Guests or external providers of services cannot be admitted without the Owner permission. Any extra Guest exceeding the maximum permitted will be requested to leave the property at Owner’s discretion. Should your party at any time (either at check in or during the holiday) exceed the Guests’ number agreed into the contract, an automatic penalty of double the security deposit will be requested. The Owner reserves the right to inspect the property at any time in order to preserve the cleanness of the Villa and its pools. This is a NON-SMOKING unit. You are allowed to smoke only in the terraces and in the outdoors. No pets are allowed, please. CHECK-IN, DEPOSIT AND CHECK-OUT You may check-in between 4.00 pm and 6.30 pm. At check-in the contents and functions of the property and its facilities will be showed and all the necessary info on house and people safety will be provided. Two sets of the house keys will be given to you. If not all the guests will be present during the tour of the house you, as the one in charge of the group, will share with the other guests all the info provided at check-in and will be responsible for taking care of the house during your stay. At check-in, for each guest over the age of 16 years, is due cash a tax of stay of euro 3 per day, per 7 days. You must also provide a cash safe deposit of 3.000 euro\week at check-in.
