Home away from home

Built in the 60's but recently refreshed, this is a warm comfortable home. Relax outdoors and listen to the birdlife or try to spot native Tui or Wood Pigeon. Located on a quiet street it is a 10 minute walk to the Town Centre or 15 minutes to the lakefront (or 2-3 minute drive). Off street parking available. Minimum 3 night stay, however if you require a shorter stay please ask. We are happy to adjust our calendar for shorter stays, if we can accommodate this. The space Unwind in the open plan living and dining area or open the double doors to a covered patio with outdoor lounge suite and BBQ. A perfect space for putting your feet up and relaxing. A smart TV equipped with Freeview and Chromecast, stream your favourite shows as there is unlimited Wifi during your stay. This 3 bedroom home sleeps up to 5 guests with bedding configurations consisting of 2 queen beds and one set of single bunks. With a fully equipped and spacious kitchen area prepare your meals and snacks with ease. The kitchen area has not yet been updated but is perfectly functional. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a separate toilet. The home is fully insulated and has a new heat pump to keep the chill off. Children will be entertained with books, puzzles, indoor/outdoor games or let them rummage through the toybox. They can also play and explore in large fully fenced back yard. lol Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house. Other things to note A portacot (with light bedding), baby bath and portable highchair are always available at the property. Extra bedding is available in each bedroom wardrobe. Our home has a standard hot water system, which means the supply is limited at any one time. Taking several showers close together, or having very long showers, may use up the available hot water. Don’t worry — the system automatically reheats overnight and again in the early afternoon, so there will be plenty of hot water later in the day should you find yourself in this situation.
