A stone's throw from the beach, this stunning 4 bed cottage is ideal for relaxing & reconnecting with family, friends & nature. A perfect weekend retreat or holiday home. As an artist, I've created unpretentious, yet still sophisticated home, full of balance and simplicity. The garden, deck and outside living areas are cleverly designed for maximum enjoyment of the space. It's the loveliest seaside escape for up 8 guests to kick back & absorb this special environment. The space Sea Fever is a stylish cottage that is bright and filled with natural light. Walk into the living room with wood fire, and then to the dining and kitchen room. Down the passage are two double bedrooms each with shower en-suites, and one twin bedroom opposite the family bathroom. The twin bedroom can be converted into a kingsize bed upon request at time of booking. The open-plan kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave and gas oven, enabling guests to enjoy their own meals in either the indoor or outdoor dining areas. Off the kitchen, the decked area is perfect for soaking up the sunshine, relaxing by the pool, or having a wood-burning braai whilst enjoying a sundowner or two and watching the stunning sunsets. The fourth bedroom plus shower en-suite is a queen, with separate entrance for those guests who require a little more privacy. High-speed Fiber Internet is provided for guests who need to stay connected, with the Inverter and UPS ensuring that there is no interruption to the WIFI service even if load shedding occurs. Guest access Janene is my Co-Host and manages the property locally on my behalf. She will meet and greet guests on arrival. As she lives close by, she will be available to assist guests through out their stay should it be required. Upon departure, Janene will meet again with guests to collect keys and help with onward travel plans and directions. Guests have full use of the property which includes 3 double bedrooms with ensuite-showers, and a further twin bed room that can be converted into a king, and family bathroom. The living area is open plan to the kitchen and has folding doors to two sides opening onto the entertainment deck and pool. Guests can park directly outside the property on the gravel driveway or street. Other things to note Be prepared to relax and enjoy our property, take full advantage of all its features to make your stay memorable! Kommetjie is a quiet peaceful village with street lighting kept to an absolute minimum, allowing guests to view our spectacular night sky. In consideration for our neighbours we have a strict policy of no-noise after midnight - Sea Fever Cottage is not available to hire for parties. There is a tenant at the property in a separate cottage with own entrance. To keep our part of the world beautiful, we encourage guests to recycle waste using the bin provided, and to be mindful of dampening down fires and braais. Guests should not leave doors and windows open when leaving the property unattended and under no circumstances try to interact with, or feed the wildlife. No animals are allowed. The house is fully alarmed, with additional garden beams. Our pool is large and set within the entertainment deck allowing for easy access. We do have a fully fitted Safety cover that can be utilized by guests if young children are staying. If you expect to arrive after the 6pm check in cut off time, please pre arrange check in with the property manager and if there is availability they will accommodate a late check in.
