Cambria Cottage is a bespoke two bedroom home nestled in the idyllic foothills of Buchan. She is centrally located close to the iconic Buchan Caves and Buchan Pub and ideal for a romantic weekend away or exploring the area with your friends. PLEASE NOTE that the cottage is not set up for families and is not ideal for children. The space Cambria Cottage is a hidden gem in the township of Buchan. Our beds look out onto leafy canopies of oak and maple trees. She is warm and cozy, with everything you need to feel deeply rested. A warm fire pit is provided to laze away the evenings with a glass of red under dark night skies. She really is a place to reconnect with nature and your loved ones. Guest access Cambria Cottage is all yours. Most of the time the area around our cottage is quiet, sometimes busy with tourists exploring the town or the rumble of a quarry truck travelling through the town in the early morning. We are proudly an inclusive stay and all guests of any background or community are welcome here into this safe space. We do have some scope to host those with limited mobility, and we are open to feedback on how best to accommodate you. Feel free to respectfully use the space around the cottage, the front of the property is a great spot for a morning coffee and the back yard for a sunset wine around the fire pit. Other things to note We stock a basic pantry which includes: compostable coffee pods, black and herbal teas, salt, pepper, herbs, spices & olive oil. Please feel free to pop into a shop for your supplies and milk if you take it!. The Buchan General Store may also have just what you are looking for. Amenities in our kitchen include a cooktop, under-bench oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. Cambria is maintained and cleaned regularly, however, wildlife and insects are common in our little patch of paradise, therefore we do not accept liability for the visits of any wildlife including, but not limited to; rodents, insects, cockroaches, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, deer, snakes and spiders. We do encourage you to use the insect repellants provided and we do have snake repellers around the yard. We have an enhanced cleaning routine due to the coronavirus, and we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We also have a Covid-19 Safety Plan and our guest and team safety is our top priority. We love our little piece of restful paradise, and we know you will to.
