Lorena Butte Lookout Tower

Gaze up at a sky full of the most brilliant stars as you camp atop our dormant volcano, Lorena Butte. Your expansive views will include Mt. Hood, Saint Helens, and Adams. Ring of fire and solar eclipses The space Please note that this is a rustic experience. The lookout tower has basic amenities, a large deck and seating area overlooking the valley. Please bring your own blow up mattress and sleeping pad. coolers, water and food. Camping stoves are allowed if you would like to bring one. There is no water or electricity on site. Dogs allowed on leash. This is a working ranch, you will see animals. There is a port a potty close to the tower, and a hand held solar light for your night visits. Guest access You will have access to the lookout tower and surrounding areas. Note that there are a few areas that are off limits and clearly marked with signage. Other things to note To get to the tower, you will need to drive up a gravel dirt road. The gate rule is if you find a gate closed, please close again when passing through.
