Unique tropical experience! Casita Lapas

Casita Lapas is a cozy cabin with great views of the meadows and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. You can relax and enjoy waking up to the birds singing, the monkeys howling, or witness the Scarlet or Great Green Macaws eating from the almond trees (if fruit is in season). The space We are Wendy and Patrick, we both have love and passion for nature, wildlife and sustainable living. Our farm is located in La Virgen de Sarapiqui, Heredia Province. The farm is composed of about 20+ acres of land including untouched rainforest, pastures, tropical gardens, fruit trees and a myriad of wildlife. Guest access Our guests can enjoy the tropical gardens and watch the different birds including Toucans, Macaws, hummingbirds and many more. Other things to note There are many attractions nearby, including white water rafting at the Sarapiqui river, horsebackriding, night tour in the forest, chocolate and banana tours, etc. I will be happy to assist with any bookings upon request. Also can suggest other attractions in Costa Rica. We have a private rainforest trail here at the farm. We do walks upon request, the cost is $10per person. The walk is approximately one hour, the terrain changes between flat and hilly and also there is a brook to cross. Professional photography allowed. The cost is $50 per person per stay. Breakfast is available upon requests except Sundays. Guest must notify the day before by 6pm if they want to have breakfast on property. We serve a costarican breakfast that includes gallo pinto (rice and beans), eggs, sweet plantain, sausage, cheese and sour cream; fruit and coffee or tea. The cost is $13 per person. We have a continental breakfast, coffee or tea and a pastry for $6 per person. Also chef Patrick offers guests dinner experiences at the farm, using mostly our own organic produce grown here at the farm. 7 course tasting menu, $70 per person. Family style dinner $35 per person. Reservation required the day before. Please note all payments made to host must be in cash. (costarican colones or US dollars).
