There is an additional parking/boat storage area less than a quarter of a mile from the house. Please do not park on the road in front of the house or driveway. ✹ WORK FROM HOME: There is free, high-speed wifi available throughout the cabin, plus a designated workspace in the first and third bedrooms. ✹ FAMILY: Traveling with little ones? You’ll find a reading nook with children’s books and toys and an outdoor slide. ✹ PET FRIENDLY: Please let us know if you would like to bring a pet and we will be happy to accommodate you for an additional fee of $150. ✹ COMMUNITY ACCESS: Enjoy free access to the shared outdoor community pool, open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Other things to note The cabin is located in a gated community. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Please obey the speed limit in the community, no fast driving will be tolerated. Quiet hours are from 10 PM - 8 AM. No parties or events are allowed at the property. No parking on the road in front of the house and driveway. There is free parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway. Vehicles must be parked in the driveway, or in the additional parking area. There is a free boat storage/parking area less than a quarter of a mile from the house within walking distance. Hot tub will be open all throughout the year. You are likely to see or hear critters throughout your stay. Do not approach any wild life. The house is regularly treated for pests. No smoking. The back yard is sloped. If walking down the hill please be careful, especially if wet. Check in is at 4 PM and check out is by 10 AM. We will charge a $50 fee for every hour that the property is not vacated after 10 AM on the scheduled date of departure. Persons making reservations must be present for the duration of the reservation. The house is close to Douglas Lake which is a popular recreational destination. Visitors can enjoy boating (there are 12 public boat ramps, the closest is listed above), swimming, and fishing (largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish are commonly seen). Water levels vary and it is recommended to check the water elevation prior to your stay if you plan to use the lake. NOTE: An additional rental agreement that provides further information regarding house rules and expectations will be sent upon booking for review and signature.
