The space About this space A large boutique apartment (110 meters) at the intersection of the German Colony, Baka and Katamon.  Fully equipped apartment in a brand new building in a highly sought-after neighborhood at the bottom of Emek Refaim (with dozens of restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and markets), with easily accessible public transportation at your front steps.  The perfect location for a vacation or visit to family in the area.  Right around the corner from some of the most popular synagogues (Nitzanim, Ramban, etc.) and attractions and only a 40 minute walk to the Old City and Western Wall.  The apartment has five beds, can sleep up to six people, and is also fully handicap accessible. The space The first floor apartment was recently renovated and is designed with a modern and stylish aesthetic.  The large east-facing windows off the main living space provide large amounts of sun and a view of the popular Park HaMesila (Train Track Park).The building features a code entrance and a Shabbat Elevator.  

The apartment is equipped with a kosher kitchen (meat and dairy) and includes everything you’ll need for short or long stays (plates, cups, cutlery, pans, ninja blender, espresso machine, cocktail kit, microwave, meat oven, electric induction stove, hot plate and water urn for Shabbat, Shabbat-mode fridge).  The large kitchen island offers additional eating and cooking prep space.

The large living room features a comfortable sofa and additional seating as well as a 65-inch TV with cable and Netflix.  The adjacent dining area has a beautiful, modern glass dining table that can be extended for seating up to 10 people.

The three bedrooms include comfortable mattresses, new air conditioning units, and storage for clothing.  The master bedroom features a queen bed while the two additional bedrooms include two twin beds each, with the ability to keep the beds separate or combine into a king bed configuration to match your group’s needs.  The master bedroom also includes a TV.  The bedroom on the far end of the hall doubles as a safe room (ma’amad).  All rooms receive ample sunlight, which can be blocked with the built-in shades (trisim) and interior curtains. A baby crib is available in the master room.

The two recently renovated bathrooms each feature a shower, toilet, and sink, with the en-suite master bathroom (added in 2024 and not reflected in earlier reviews) also housing the washer and dryer for laundry.  The second bathroom is accessible from the hallway.

The apartment is equipped with an intercom system to the building’s front door as well as a Ring security system on the unit’s front door.  The apartment is also accessed using a code lock, alleviating the need for key handoffs.

The apartment is meticulously maintained, with cleaning services available during your stay. Wifi is free. About the area The apartment is located at the bottom of the popular Emek Refaim shopping and eating area.  It’s a three minute walk to the popular Nitzanim shul and a five minute walk to the Ramban shul.  Numerous kosher and non-kosher restaurants are located right across the street, including the popular Big Apple Pizza and many other meat and dairy options.  The Hadar Mall is a ten minute walk away with various shopping and eating options, and there are multiple local supermarkets and homegood stores within a few blocks.  The Tachana HaRishona (First Station for shopping, eating and concerts) is a 20 minute walk.  And what could be more special than taking a 40 minute walk or short bus ride to the Western Wall? Busses run frequently from right in front of the building, and free street parking is readily available.
