Enjoy a most beautiful view

Enjoy our summer home that will give you a real taste of the Dubrovnik Old Town. Perched high up by the city walls, on the oldest part of the town, the house sits on a charming square, where laundry still hangs to dry on the lines between the houses. Relax on the rooftop terrace with a magnificent view over the old town, the sea and the island of Lokrum. - Please note that you need to climb quite some stairs to get up to the house. Suitable for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 chidren. The space The house is on three floors and is situated on a lovely square which allows for the opportunity to eat outside, or simply just sit down, sip coffee and relax in front of the house, away from the crowds. On the ground floor of the house there is the open-space kitchen/dining area and a small toilet. The oak kitchen cabinets (including the hinges!!) were handmade by a local carpenter and the custom made stone sink, which weighs around 250 kg, was brought up the stairs to the house by our dear Pero, his son and his son's friends (all in the local handball team) 😉. The floor is made of that same local stone. On the first floor there is the master bedroom with a double bed (160cmx200cm). The peacock feathers in this room are from years' worth of treasure hunts by our children on the island of Lokrum (peacocks appear to shed their feathers at the end of june/beginning of july). Part of the wall in that room is pink with a printed pattern. We found that under the wallpaper and the old layer of peeling white paint and thought we'd keep it as a glimpse into the house's past...  On this floor there is also the one full bathroom (with seaview from the loo as an added bonus). On the second floor of the house there are two additional bedrooms. The front bedroom, overlooking the square, has two single beds. From the window in this room you can hang the laundry inbetween the houses 🏘. While the back bedroom, with sea view, has a bunk bed (only suitable for children and adolescents). From this room, steep stairs lead up to the private roof terrace, which has a most beautiful view over the open sea, the island of Lokrum and the old town. You can dine on the terrace or just enjoy a cold drink, taking in the beauty... all three bedrooms have air-conditioning.
