Location is easily accessible to Bedford, Bloomington (IU Football & Basketball), NSWC Crane, Lake Monroe, Spring Mill and Brown County State Parks, and Bluespring Cavern Park. 15 minutes to major restaurants and 2 miles from Dollar General. Nature lover's dream! The space The cottage is located on a paved road with easy access to a state highway and is in a park-like setting. The home is surrounded by fields and woods. You may encounter wildlife such as deer, fox, opossums, turkeys, raccoons etc. It’s a nature lover’s paradise. The inside of the house has a cabin-type feel. There are three outside areas for you to relax--deck off of master suite, front porch, and screened in back porch. Guest access All areas of the home, except small owners closet and furnace room. Detached garage is not accessible. Other things to note To accommodate our guests with allergies, no pets are allowed. Smoking and vaping is allowed around fire pit area only, not in the house or surrounding porches. In addition to a water softener, this house has a water filtration system located next to the kitchen faucet. It's great for coffee, cooking, etc. We also offer free small boat parking for those visiting Lake Monroe and nearby waterways.
