Chez Cornish

Chez Cornish is a secluded and charming property that forms part of a 13th-century Mas on one corner of the village of Camelas in the Occitanie region of France. Its rural location is perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday with family and friends as you enjoy clear views of the local mountain and surrounding countryside from every room and the private garden. The airy living space, 4 double bedrooms and beautiful outdoor space can comfortably accommodate 8 people. The space The house has been tastefully renovated to provide a comfortable and well-equipped holiday home. There is a modern, fully equipped kitchen with an island and a lovely sitting room and dining area looking out onto a terrace and the garden. Please note that the ground floor is open plan and split level and rooms are accessed by steps. The outside space is split over three levels and its sun terrace, mature gardens and 10-metre swimming pool are perfect for spending time relaxing in the sun and for al fresco dining. The swimming pool has a safety alarm but is unsuitable for very small children. There is a cave/utility area with a washing machine. There are four bedrooms at Chez Cornish which are split over the first and second floor. The master bedroom is on the first floor and has a double bed with an en-suite bathroom. The other bedrooms are a double (second floor), a twin (first floor) and a king room (second floor) with an ensuite toilet that can by request, also be configured as a twin room. There is a family shower room on the first floor. Guest access Parking - You can park your car outside the house whilst you unload. You can then park your car in the public parking at the exit of the village by the cemetery. (a couple of minutes walk) Other things to note The property is let for the summer period for a minimum period of 7 days and the check-in and check-out day is Friday Please Note The swimming pool dimensions are 10 metres x 4 metres and its depth is 1.1 metres at the shallow end and 2 metres at the deep end. Animals are not accepted at Chez Cornish The property is non-smoking Groups of young people are not accepted Children under the age of 8 are not accepted. The house has steep stairs, low beams and a terraced garden and therefore is not suitable for children under the age of 8 or those with mobility issues. Small babies (ie. non-crawling or walking) are accepted as a 9th person on request. Parking is available in the village carpark (about 3 mins walk away) but you can drive to the house to drop off bags.
