Pet friendly self-contained annex attached to Raven House Farm, ideal overnight stopover on route North/South or a peaceful stay when visiting/working in the area. It offers ample off-road parking, large bedroom and Bunk bedroom, shower room, small TV room, kitchenette, gardens, BBQ and outdoor stove. A short walk to a well-stocked Co-op, takeaways and an award-winning Nepalese restaurant in the village (~ 1 mile). Nearby are many walking/cycling trails to enjoy miles of off-road tracks. The space Raven’s Wing is a quiet, cosy, 2 bedroom self-contained private space with wi-fi. It is well kitted out for convenience and comfort offering a smart TV with two-seater sofa in the TV room, powerful shower, heated towel rail and shampoo/body wash in the shower room and toaster, fridge, freezer, cafetière, microwave, air-fryer and single induction hot plate in the kitchenette. Raven House Farm was once a thriving milk farm, but now it is a historic property available for rental, although it is not rented out the same time as the annex. Alas, all the farmland was sold for building prior to our occupancy! Tibshelf is an old mining village and site of the first inland oil well. It now has many green areas and miles of off-road paths leading to local villages and further afield to places such as Hardwick Hall and Chesterfield. Tibshelf also has a Co-op, post office, garage, restaurant, pub and several takeaways. Easy access from the M1 means it is an ideal stop over for those travelling a distance (around 15 minutes drive from the M1 – far enough away to not be bothered by any motorway noise and between junctions 28 & 29 allowing for entry/exit as needed). Guest access Parking is in the front courtyard, where security cameras operate. It is accessed via the backdoor, follow the stone slab path to the back door. The key safe is on the right. Other things to note The house is secured with external CCTV for your safety and peace of mind.
