La Graziosa, a super cozy apartment in Santa Croce

A gorgeous and welcoming apartment in the heart of Florence. Located on the 4th floor of an ancient building, a former monastery with no lift, the house is full of light, peaceful and quiet despite being very central. The bathroom is decorated with stunning hand-painted Sicilian tiles. Here you can experience an unforgettable Florentine stay: you’ll be just a few minutes away (literally) from the famous sites and just 30 steps away from Vivoli, world-famous for its “affogato al caffè”! The space The apartment consists of an entrance hall, a bedroom with a double bed, a large wardrobe and a desk to work at if necessary, and an airy kitchen-living room full of light. The sofa converts into a comfortable bed so the house can accommodate up to 4 people. A cot for small children is also available. All spaces have air conditioning and heating and the system is brand new and was installed in August 2023. The bathroom is brand new too and has just been fully renovated with gorgeous hand made and hand painted ceramic tiles from Sicily. The shower is spacious and there is place for two people. There is a small window on the ceiling for light which does not open however the bathroom is equipped with a fan. The house is full of art (paintings, lamps, watercolours, ceramics) made by local Florentine artists and artisans, and real plants! After 5 flights of steep stairs the apartment is a small and welcoming oasis of peace and tranquillity after a bustling day in town. The condominium stairs are to be repainted this winter. The facade of the house was redone in early 2023. Guest access You will have access to all areas of the house during your stay, except for a small closet in the bedroom where cleaning products are stored. Other things to note Please be aware that the stairs are steep! If your stay is longer than 7 nights, sheets and towels will need to be changed at an additional cost of €30 per couple. The sheets are made-in-italy and changing them after 7 nights is the policy of the local family run company we rent from in order to maintain a high quality of the products used.
