This renovated house in Northern VA is perfect for families looking to explore the DC with lots of space. The home offers 3 BR, 3 BA, a double car driveway, fenced in backyard and screened in porch. It is in Falls Church City and is a 5 minute drive to two different metro stops that go directly to DC via the Orange and Silver lines. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are all on the upper level. Please note this is my primary residence so closets and bathrooms will have my personal items. The main level includes a newly renovated kitchen, living room dining room with seating for 4, as well as a separate den with TV (Apple and FIOS). An owners room on the main level will be locked. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, bakeware, crockpot, blender, etc as well as a Keurig coffee maker - sugar and milk will be provided, as well as olive oil and spices. The main level has access to the large fenced in backyard and a screened in porch with a sectional sofa that seats six and a dining table for six. There is a small full bath on the main level with tub/shower. Upstairs includes 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has a King Size bed, Samsung Frame smart TV and ensuite bathroom with tub/shower. The 2nd Bedroom has a Queen Size bed, and TV with Roku stick. The 3rd Bedroom has laundry closet and pull out twin size bed for a child. A 3rd newly renovated Bathroom is shared by the 2 upstairs bedrooms. Ceiling fans throughout and dual zoned HVAC with Nest thermostats. As noted above, there is limited closet and storage space for clothes. Keys for both the front door and backdoor will be in a lockbox in the backyard. You will go through the main gate from the driveway and the lockbox will be on the backstoop. Code will be provided prior to check-in. There is a security system but the code will not be provide as it is so difficult to change. There is also a nest lock on the front door but ask that you use the keys and not the electronic lock as well. I will be reachable by phone, text and email during your stay. You can walk to Dogwood cafe, Northside Social, State Theatre, Liberty Barbecue, Solace Outpost Brewery, Dominion Wine and Beer, and numerous other restaurants and bars. One block from access to the W&OD trail for biking, dog walking, running, etc. Super safe and peaceful neighborhood! The home is a little more than a mile to two different metro stops - East Falls Church and West Falls Church. From East Falls Church you can walk along the W&OD trail to get to the house. Both of these metro stations have large parking lots that charge $3-4 a day to park but are free on the weekends. These stops are for the Orange and Silver lines and have direct access to DC, Tysons Corner, and Dulles airport. You can transfer to the Blue line at Rosslyn to get to Reagan airport. Dogs will be accepted on a case by case basis and a non-refundable pet fee of $150. Dog bed, bowls and dog wipes will be provided.
